Looks great! I had a black front star on my CLS as well. Everyone loved it. I actually like the grill and don't plan on painting it black. I am also on the fence of painting the diffuser gloss black. Looks great!

JP thanks the star is cool I thought about painting the whole front , I like the brushed silver grill ,the diffuser is a must everything should be gloss black !!!.Even the window spoiler !!

The rims will be ready Wednesday here are my choices powder-coated Black Chrome /Powder coated Matt Clear Centers with polished Clear or Satin Matt Red outer lip Fronts 9.5" and 11" rears Call the Police!!!
I'm going to try the 10 spoke powder coated Chrome Black with Satin Red outer lips Matt black inner barrels ,The centers can swap, If anyone is interested the original rims light smoked silver are available for sale , They are 9x20 and 10.5 rears with the 285 rears the offset was corrected PM me for Nutek's direct line they will discount them they are the 710 series color change is possible here is a picture of them

You can't go wrong so I would take them all LOL. The first pic is similar to the optional black wheels which I have on my 2016 and I have been getting lots of positive comments on them. Everywhere I park it people come over and are drawn to them. I've seen pics of a AMG GTS on this forum with the black and red wheels and it is unbelievably gorgeous.

I'm in amazement that 305s will fit on the rear of a C. I have 305s on the rear of my CLS550 & I love it. I'm sure you will too. Welcome to the 305 club. Lol. Mods are all awesome & tastefully done. Looking forward to the finished (for now) product. We all know that these cars are never truly finished when it comes to modding.
