C63 saloon, Scotland
Just thought I'd sign up as I've got a new car coming in a couple of weeks.
I'm replacing my 997 Carrera S as my wife is pregnant and I use her car as my tow car when I'm racing so I need to leave her with something practical when I'm away. After a bit of hunting around I settled on the C63 as it's got proper rear seats, rear wheel drive and a decent engine so I can remain entertained. Oh and I love the juxtaposition of bucket-type seats in the front of a 'practical' car.

I'm a bit of a car nut so the C63 is going to be fettled. I'll bring the power up with a remap and maybe swap to some nicer wheels without going above 19" though as the roads in the UK will kill them.
My car is Diamond White Metallic with the 5 spoke 19" AMG wheels.
Other spec is:
Premium Package
Driving Assistance Package
Night Package
AMG Performance seats
Sports exhaust
Ash wood interior
This is the car;

I get it on the 27th Aug so will be giving it a good run over the Scottish Highlands to see what it's really like. The test drive was very very tame indeed.
And this is what it's replacing. I'll miss it.

And these are my others if anyone's interested;

Sweet car collection btw. We definitely have the same taste in cars.
My uncle had a gtv when I was a kid and he put every penny he made into it until one day he got clobbered in the back.

I'm definitely more into classics than I am modern cars. I would run about in a 70's 911 or 60's Alfa all year long if I could but safety concerns trouble me these days and they're just not as safe in a big shunt.

Enjoy the car. The S or non-S debate raged in my head for a little while but I decided in the end that I can get S power quite simply and won't really notice the differential changes on the road, or at least I shouldn't be getting to the point where I can on the road and I have cars for the track already.
Enjoy the new car, but im more interested in where you live. You have some of the best roads in the world in your area. I love thundering over the big hill at the Lecht ski centre, and whichever way you turn, there is another great road awaiting. When i win the lottery, im moving straight up to Royal Deeside, i just love it, regards, SIMON. Oh, by the way, you should have bought an M4, lol

So very very true. I make that trip a lot as we have a house in Grantown upon Spey. I usually set off at 5.30/6am as there's not a car on the road. It's my favourite drive on the planet thus far.
Haha. I looked at the M4 but am not in love with their interiors.
I was up there at Easter, and when i was driving through Glenshee, i came upon a new C63S and a Merc film crewe. I thought, what are the chances of this, an M4 and a C63S in again, one of the best driving environments, and early in the morning. So i approached them for a bit of banter, and to my surprise, not one of the chaps would acknowledge me, or talk to me, so i left them there in disgust. The C63 sounded good though.
What a fantastic car. It's soaking wet here so no pushing too hard but wow, it feels planted.
Loving the AMG seats. I have a bad back so it's often difficult to find the right position but took me only moments. The support is incredibly adjustable. My wife, who is 6 months pregnant, even finds it more comfortable than her Range Rover which is saying something. I think it's down the the lack of lateral movement in the seat for her.
Anyway, I have a weekend of Highland Roads to take on so will update with better pics later. These are just from collection.

And the view from Cameron House Hotel

Did another 50 or so miles today. Car drives brilliantly but I'm getting some annoying creaking from the dashboard. I'll need to hunt them down and get some felt in between the panels.
