Pricing for C63S

I just wanted to get an idea of what people are paying for their C63S. I realize pricing varies with region, so I'm open to buying out of state. I've reached out to quite a few dealers in the Socal Area and they seem to be all asking MSRP, particularly for the Edition 1 cars.

Anyone having luck with getting a decent deal on an Edition 1 car?

Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for MY15 or MY16? The latter is currently in production so any MY15s out there should be discounted as appropriate. MSRP for a car that is considered last year's model at this point is not reasonable in my book. I'm sure you can get a good deal on a 15 but you might have to wait until the end of August when the 16s might be released.

I bought my MY15 the end of June, and I got $3K off MSRP ($80K down to $77K). I purchased it from the lot.

I used the Price Promise feature on Edmunds.com where all I had to do was print out a copy of the Price Promise, hand it to the salesman, and you have your deal. Very simple and painless, I'd use it again in a heartbeat.

I used my credit union who uses True Car and they offered a $3700 disc but the dealer would not give an allocation to me at that price so I ended up with a $2k disc at another dealer.

2016 AMG C63S
I was able to get 2.5k off my 2016 car due to them not being able to get me a C63W in the time we agreed on as promised. Basically got a C63WS for only 1.5k more based on my options. Not bad if you ask me.

This was ordered too, not off the lot.

Some dealers are more motivated than others. I got quotes from two different dealers in my area who refused to go below MSRP and who low balled the trade on my 2015 M4 by at least $5K.

With a bit more searching and a 200 mile drive, I found a dealer willing to take $3K off MSRP on an E1 and give me a fair trade-in on the M4.

I was offered MSRP for an allocated order. The dealer didn't have anything on the lot.

If you're looking at an Edition 1, you should be able get a better deal. Edition 1's are by default 2015 models, and probably have been sitting on the lot for a long time. Also, don't believe the dealer when he says that an Edition 1 is going to be collector's item.

The Edition 1 package is basically a visual-only option pack. Visual options tend to offer the lowest rate of return when it comes to resale.

But still, it also varies on your area. In Vegas, neither of the MB dealers were willing to budge much beyond MSRP. In Toronto area, the dealer opened up with a 3% discount after a simple "what kind of price you can give me?"

I am in the same boat with you jefe888. I am also in the Los Angeles area, looking to place an order for MY16 but none of the dealers in my area is willing to budge off MSRP. The weird thing is that we have 7-8 dealers just in the LA area only too.
Rusnak also said they offer MSRP to their VIP (repeat) customers only. LOL.
Let me know if you come across one that budge !

Santa Barbara had an E1, and I asked for a quote from their internet department. They came back with an MSRP quote. That car has since been sold.

There aren't that many E1's left in the Socal market.

With little negotiation, one Bay Area dealer offered me $3k off a non-E1 C63S (no trade in).
