C63 Coupe description is very nice
The coupe with 9" front and 10.5" rear wheels and 255 front and 285 rear tires will likely have much better traction.
One report also said that AMG expects the coupe to be faster 0-60 because of the tires as well as having a lower final gear ratio. I suspect that AMG was able to use the lower final gear ratio because of the extra traction. Given how easily we can smoke the rear tires in at least the first two gears, it would have been crazy to use that lower gear ratio on the sedan.
I do look forward to seeing some 1/4 mile results once sedan owners start installing more serious rubber.
I also look forward to seeing some magazine tests of the coupe. I fully expect all the engine and transmission software issues to be resolved by the time the coupe arrives. Thus, tests of the coupe will not be hampered by the bug ridden software that has obviously plagued the early tests of the C63S sedan. With this we should finally see some instrumented tests of stock C63S that break into the 11s at more than 120 mph for the 1/4.
IMHO 0-100km/h (0-62mp/h) and 1/4 mile times will probably not deviate too much from what we've seen on the sedans thus far, I believe there'll be a bigger margin of difference between the coupe and other variants on track circuit times because of all the other changes which add up in a bigger way for track work than just in a straight line.
One aspect that really gets my attention is the front tyre size, (they are as wide as the rears on a 204 series!) that presents a massive foot print which should result in much stronger braking/stopping and cornering capability, I'm actually very curious and wanting to see skid pan runs and results of this new C205, with the widened front and rear wheel tracks and rubber along with the negative cambers it should have remarkable lateral g loading capability and therefore handling

Yes a typical Chris Harris review of this new AMG variant would be nice, I'm sure he'll point out all and any differences between it and the sedan and more interestingly against its competitors - really looking forward to how this C63 coupe compares to the M4, I have a feeling we're going to have a new segment King
Only question is how much money is the coupe going to be.. i'm gonna assume 2-3k more then sedan.

Totally agree, it's one seriously good looking and serious performance car package in a not too way over the top segment - it's a dream machine

Pricing will be out soon enough.
It'll depend on market place to market place and should be a little more than sedan and estate.
This new C205 variant is far removed as we all know now from the sedan more so than previous models, it's actually almost like a Black series so it'll be interesting to see what the eventual BS will be all about.

"A new exhaust flap developed specifically for the Coupe ensures many noises are made, too, while you can even option a proper performance exhaust for yet more shouting. Merc’s dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox is the only transmission on offer, of course driving the rear wheels."

It's definitely better looking than the W204 sedan and for me beats the 3 series and A4 hands down on looks.
Agree that the coupe is stunning though.

W/C205 AMG C63 - MCT Trans.
As mentioned on numerous other threads, this is not such a bad thing as the MCT is a smoother and stronger trans compared to the dual clutch, the shifts are good and I'm sure in time the shifts will be improved even further which should result in an excellent all rounder

What really does it for me apart from the rest of it which is great with the rear end are the sleek tail lights, so happy they went that way with this new coupe.
As much as I want to like the W205 rear end even now a long time after its release I still can't get over the tail lights and they have not grown on me at all as someone put it in another thread they do look like they're from a Hyundai parts bin
