As well, is anyone able to confirm that the transmission needs to be dropped to install the downpipes? Doesn't make much sense to me, but I have seen that written somewhere...

We'll have full product release here shortly but we are already installing and shipping these downpipes as we have another C63S that is having them installed as we speak.
Be very proud of your C63S guys, this weekend in portland I got a chance to race ours against a weistec E63 with turbo upgrades, downpipes and ECU along with handful of other bmw's... lets just say i came home with the AMG/BMW roll race champion trophy

Yes the transmission needs to be dropped but honestly its a fairly simply job... its honestly easier to do the downpipes then it is to do the ECU IMO...
We'll have full product release here shortly but we are already installing and shipping these downpipes as we have another C63S that is having them installed as we speak.

Well you certainly have my attention now. I have two more questions.
1. With the sport cats, will the cats be sufficiently effective so as to avoid the dreaded check engine light?
2. Will the down pipes with the sport cats suffer significant power loss compared to the version without cats?

Haven't had a chance to get some good video clips of this car out on the street yet. In the closing moments of buttoning up the second car right now, which is fitted with the performance exhaust.
