After seeing how snug everything is I have some install questions.
Removal of transmission necessary?
Cutting of stock piping necessary?
Excellent work and great sounds

As per the installation, yes the transmission needs to be removed in order to remove the stock pipes AND install the new ones. I do not want anyone getting the idea that you can cut out the stock downpipes and somehow slip these in.
As long as you remove the tranny, these will bolt up directly to the turbos and directly to your factory mid section with all supplied clamps and hardware.

Once we got Kingmonkeys stock downpipes out, we were able to put them next to our ACG downpipes. This really illustrates how restrictive the stock downpipes are.

The stock piping inner diameter is a little bit over 2.5" and our stainless replacements are slight under 3" inner diameter.

I have an Edition One Coupe C63S, arriving mid November. I am in Australia, everyone here seems to be running the same Akrapovic, cat back Ti system. I run an Armytrix full system, Turbo back on my facelift A45 which sounds clean and powerful. I leave the valves open 100% of the time and the crack and pops and bangs are for my tastes perfect. The Akrapovic systems I have heard are muted by comparison.
Very interested in your downpipes, what system do you recommend fitting after them?
I assume you get an ECU check light once you remove the downpipe cats? Unless you do an ECU reprogram?
