Will - great review dude and very happy to hear you're enjoying the monster! Hope it brings you years of happiness and safe travels! Your car looks hot hot hot. I'm starting to feel like I should have gone with the black rims - the contrast is just so good. Makes more of an impression, where the silver 5 spoke blends well. I like the impression!

Nice one mate!

I currently have a 2015 C63S and I have this feature as well mate. Guess it might be a software update required.

There has been some talk about the tranny not downshifting when you click it twice in a row but I have not experienced it yet. I had it downshift from 3rd to first when slowing down. I tapped the left to go to second but the car was downshifting by itself at the same time. It was instant. Had the same thing happen a few times when upshifting from 2 to 3 and the car went to 4th. Tranny feels solid and quick.

Is there anything specific you are inquiring/worried about?

Go to Vehicle & push down on the command controller to enter the menu.

Scroll to Dynamic Select. You will then see all of the menus. DS is standard on all MY 16 C's. I do not know if a COMMAND update will add this.

Right thanks JP but mine was a 2015 build.. early on too. So I don't have this. Does your 2015 have this JP?

Oh, I thought yours was a 2016. No, the 2015's models do not have this.

Autogeek sells a brush that works real well including the whole inside and the painted brakes.

I passed 1550 and haven't gotten one of those. That being said, wouldn't concern me too much. I'd get those sometimes in my Shelby.

Hi Will - this the first quirky thing to happen to your car? I was hoping all this stuff was gone on the 2016 models...

It's normal and would not call this quirky. You're actually lucky you made it above 1000 without needing to add oil. I keep a bottle of oil in the trunk.

Definitely not worried about this. The manual states that the car will burn up to 1 quart of oil every 600 miles depending on your driving style. Page 331.
New engines will always burn some oil in my experience.

Checked the oil and the level seems fine. Going in for first service next week for oil change and diff service.

On a funny note had a BMW come up behind me to let me know he wanted to go. I thought it was a 335i so I figured it would give me a good idea how quick this thing is.
I let him get to my door and went for it. No contest at all it was like he was standing still. I let him pass me later and he wouldn't even look at me. It was a 328 with the m line stuff. I guess he didn't look at the "AMG" part on the back or didn't know what it meant.

I want to know if those wheels with the big center cap are center lock wheels?

Just a center cap and plastic to cover bolts. Turn center quarter turn CC and it comes off reveling lug bolts and you can leave it off and put a center cap in if you like.

I have been trying to avoid driving it in the rain but my luck ran out. Good news, no chattering of the windshield wipers . I apply rain-x after each wash.

Tried sport plus driving mode with the ESP in sport mode and nailed it. I'm still lmao, what a car, lots of wheel spin and sideways sliding action . Well behaved and easy to control thru 1 and 2 finally hooked up in 3rd.

Do you wash your car yourself?
