rongpanda's C63S Build (2D October 2015)
So, I've made a post before about my C63 build, but since then, a lot of things have changed. My first build was for a vanilla C63 that ended up becoming a C63S. After the first C63S was locked into production, I wanted to add the night styling package, but it was too late. Luckily, I was able to have another one allocated to me and they were able to get the same exact build, but add the night styling package.
Well, today, the dealership received the first C63S that was built for me, the one without the night styling package. Here are the specs:
EXTERIOR
149 polar white
P60 night styling package (FINAL CAR ONLY)
413 panorama sunroof
U93 carbon fiber rear spoiler
662 19" AMG cross-spoke forged wheels - black
U70 red brake calipers
319 lighting package - dynamic LED headlights
00A illuminated star
INTERIOR
811 black leather with grey accent (S-model)
736 black ash open pore wood
555 AMG performance seats
U17 C63S black seatbelts
SAFETY
235 PARKTRONIC with active parking assist
234 blind spot assist
293 rear side airbags
MISC TECH
U78 AMG performance exhaust
320 multimedia package (COMAND)
463 heads-up display
389 hands free access package
P21 air balance package (huge module, btw)
And here are the pictures I took earlier today:
black forged cross spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sports
heads-up display
illuminated star
dynamic LED headlights
I was REALLY tempted to drive this home today, but I'm going to just wait on my actual car. It has a build date of Oct 12 with an estimated dealership delivery date of no earlier than Oct 22. When that day comes, I'll be sure to upload pictures of that car in better detail.
BTW, this was waiting for pick up when I got there:
AMG GT S in Solarbeam Yellow
Off-topic, I know, but I hope you can forgive me. The color wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. It's much too flat to be considered a metallic yellow IMO, and definitely not worth the $9,900 price tag.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy! I can't wait until October comes.

Thanks guys. This car is beautiful, but I can't get mine until the end of October. Now that I've seen what it will basically look like, waiting is going to be impossible.

I was a huge fan of this color ever since they revealed the car. Even though it costs almost $10k, if I had the money to get this car, I would have gotten the solarbeam yellow. Turns out I was wrong. I thought the color would be more gold and metallic, but it looks more like a mustard color. Maybe it was the lighting, I personally think the magno selenite grey would be a better color choice, and it's only $3950.
And I am a cheapskate. I initially opted to not get the carbon fiber interior/mirror caps and the carbon ceramics because of the cost. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting at least the mirror caps.

I'd be the stupidest person on earth if I didn't buy that car for only $9,900.
Side note, apparently the buyer of that car wanted the solarbeam yellow, but since it wasn't available at launch, he bought a white one to drive around and traded that in for this one. Apparently, he buys new cars literally every three months. Must be nice...
