There is no power reduce in the break in period.
Please check the hoses that are coming from left/right and on top of the intercooler. Black hose connects to silver alloy power rail. Check if the 2 clamps are tight enough. If this isn't the case u will have power loss.

Thanks Marcus I will do that but it might be computer related as it does this only occasionally and today it would not do it. Also mine and Carbon8 had the same happen and it fixed it with a simple shutdown and restart on the engine.Originally Posted by Marcus Dahl

Am I missing something here. I can't find this data, I've pressed the vehicle button, then dynamic select and only get further Options to change the engine, suspension, exhaust etc. There is no option fo 'engine data'? Is this on UK spec'd cars?Originally Posted by RDOCA
Go to Vehicle and dynamic and engine data

I think it is only 2016 and I don't know about the UK. I'm in the US.

Up till this time I never thought power was down because I never ran hard from low to redline and never watched gauges either.

RDOCA, can you take a pic of these gauges? And possibly how you got to them? It would be easier for people to help you in the process. Also, I'm having a hard time believing that these gauges are only on the 2016 and not in the 2015 models... THANKS!

Gauges are definitely not in 2015 models.Originally Posted by theclutch

Looks like I was wrong as it happened again today that I had no boost and only about 275 HP on 2 runs and after a 10 sec shutdown and restart it was OK. For 2 more runs it was ok and than no boost and a shutdown and OK again.
I'll post if dealer finds problem.

RDOCA, so what's the verdict? Did you go to the dealer and get this diagnosed and fixed? Did the AMG rep say we are "detuned" until 1000 miles?!@? Let's get the answers and close this thread out.

It was not MB limiting the power as I thought it might be. It happened to me at 975 miles and twice more a couple hundred miles later on the same day. All times it was fixed by just a restart. I saw one other owner on the forum with a 2015 had the same thing happen but he was putting car away for winter and if it happens again it won't be till spring . I went to dealer and had him check for codes but there were none and they have not had any similar complaints. I watch each time I drive it and it has never happened again and I have driven it in a somewhat spirited manner in the mountains several times. I have almost 4000 miles on now and it is always a beast and so much fun to drive.Originally Posted by theclutch

One of life's little mysteries I guess.
I also had a message twice that the E-diff was inoperative that did not throw any codes and has not returned.

It is not under 'Vehicle'. You will find this from the main menu, click on 'Dynamic Select' using the scroll wheel. Scroll along to engine data. You'll find it there.

I have a 2016 C63S and live in the USA so this might not apply to other countries or years.Originally Posted by AMGc63s177

This is exactly how to get to engine data gauges.
I start my car and the nav.screen is showing usually.
I push the Vehicle button on dash.
This brings up Vehicle settings.
Turn command wheel to Dynamic select.
Depress wheel.
Turn wheel to engine data.
Depress wheel.
Voila

HP and Torque screens on the nav? Where???!!!Originally Posted by RDOCA
Ok so I am getting close to 1000 miles and getting anxious to really get on it . I thought I would just cheat and try a race start at about 975mi. so I go to a empty road and go to race and do a race start that works well but I have the HP and torque screens on the nav screen.

I think he just means on the center screen under vehicle menu, dynamic menu, engine data (I think).

And... The power gauges seem to be part of the COMAND system. I have a 2016 without COMAND and I don't have the gauges, but a buddy with a one-month newer 2016 has COMAND and he does have the gauges.Originally Posted by AlexZTuned
