So very close to pulling trigger on 2016 C63S...
My only outstanding concern is all of the quirky issues that continue to be reported on this board on primarily the 2015's. For all of 2016 owners out there, are you experiencing less (no) issues? I know it's still rather early - 2016's out for just a couple months - so this may not be representative of reality. Guess I need to just take a leap of faith regardless if I really want this car. Just don't want to buy a new car that sits in the MB service bay more than my garage. Don't think it is that bad, but you all know what I mean.

Do it. I think very very few people that own the car have regrets. Yes, the first year car had issues (none for me) but most will tell you they still love the car. Its a special beast and I get compliments all the time. Most people don't know what it is so its still bit of a mystery to many, especially when they hear the car pull up or pull away. No car is perfect and my M4 went to the shop twice before the break in was up. Just MHO.
Good luck with the decision.

2016 C63
I had two W204 C63's and now have a 16 C63. The 16 is a big step up. No problems with it. It you look at all of the enthusiast car forums you will find complaints about every new car without exception. I suggest you not let that be an impediment.

I would check out the C-Class forums for reliability issues with MY16. As far as I've seen, almost all the problems are non drivetrain related. Example: Jammed sunroof, rattling in speakers etc, and thus would not be specific to just the AMG.

The only issue that I've experienced is the stuttering windshield wipers. Interestingly, they still were effective in clearing water from the windshield. So the stutter is just annoying, not something that prevents operating the vehicle.
And it doesn't happen all the time. Large volumes of water seem to smooth it out, as well as small (like you don't notice it if you do the windshield wiper cleaner), which is weird.
Other than that, no issues. No creaking, squeaking, peeling, rattling, stuck pano roof, engine lights, stuck suspension settings.... zero issues. At 1,500 miles now. Been on one long road trip (6 hours each way to Niagara Falls). Drive was great. Entire way back was in the rain, half in the dark, and had no issues driving.
