Whoa, what's that bottle in the plastic bag? Is it some kind of tire sealant? I guess no more spare tire, huh?

On most any car that has a battery in the trunk, you are intended to primarily used the positive and negative connections under the hood. That includes any jumping, battery tending, etc. You would only need to open the trunk to actually replaced the battery itself.
In conclusion, RTFM.

Hey guys I’m shipping my 17 c63s coupe overseas and I was told by the shipping company that the battery must be disconnected while in the container. Where do I disconnect? At the front? Or back in the trunk? Is this gonna raise any errors or problems? Battery is going to be disconnected for atleast 3-4 weeks.. also once the battery is disconnected I shouldn’t close the trunk correct? Reason I ask is because I’ll be sending valuables in the trunk and didn’t wanna leave it open. Thanks 🙏

And thanks for the clarification, my service advisor at the dealer said that “I should take a booster pack because the battery might be dead”, 🤦🏻♂️ how is this possible if the battery is disconnected. Lol

thanks for the reply bud 🙏 I think that’s a much better option! Are you able to show me a picture of where the negative is that you’re referring to?

The negative I speak of would be the black terminal/wire directly attached to your battery. 10mm to loosen the nut then slide it off and out of the way.
The battery won't drain in 2-3 weeks if there is nothing drawing current from it. I assume he thinks you are leaving it connected, which in that case you would probably need to jump it after a few weeks if that.

According to the signature, forum member 4npower has two vehicles in the garage. 2019 GLC 63 S and a 2020 C 43 coupe. The engine bay shown is from a C 43 so it might be from the 2020 C 43 coupe.
