The important this here is that it says the engine weights 460 lbs

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Good informative article. The longest comment for the article includes this:

"the new M178 has the "Hot inside V" tech that means turbos and their complex are placed inside the engine which is a thumbs up for its compactness , but means every time some thing goes wrong with turbos , they're going to take the engine out and disassemble it which will cost you appalling amounts of money ! so long for the cost of ownership and value loss !"

I thought it's the other way around and that "Hot inside V" arrangement is supposed to make replacement of turbos easier. Does anyone know?

Yes, I think that commenter is a little misinformed. The Hot V means that the turbos are nicely presented in an accessible place. Yes, you'll still need to move some items to get to them but nothing like as difficult as it would be if they were tucked down the side of the engine by the bulkhead.

Having pulled the motor on my B5 S4 several times to do turbo work / replacement, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.
