Moldy, spotty steering wheel anyone?
I started to notice small greyish spots that looks like mold on the 2 sides of my steering wheel anyone have similar sighting? Is it wise to wipe clean and if so what to use?

i guess I have the same! Thought I would not post it since I felt I might be over thinking it, but damn it looks weird! do you have the dinamica steering wheel? I've got only on side of the wheel which is fading away!

I have had the Alcantara wheel on my CLA 45 for two years now. I use Chemical Guys leather cleaner on the whole wheel, except for the plastic parts. Like others have said give it a good rub and sometimes if I have neglected it for a while I use a soft brush to gently free up the bunched fibers, just make sure the fibers and brush are saturated with the leather cleaner.
I use their Innerclean spray to wipe off the leather cleaner from the plastic parts because it can leave a film.

Mine is Edition 1 so not sure if it's dinamica. Started on one side now slowly both.

Dang you got issues,( nervous sweating hands syndrome) this is
Due to getting too nervous when driving your car.
This happens to me when I go over 100 mph expecting to get a ticket
any time.
Wear gloves for a while and see if this continues to appear.

Problem solved! Sonax works like magic! Cleaned in one wipe.
Thank you JP for the recommendation!

Those white spots and hardened feeling is because of the salt you deposit on the wheel from your hands.
Rinse a microfiber towel in clean slightly warm water and then twist the towel to remove excess water and rubb gently, if its still a bit hard use a fine toothbrush and lightly rub it to get it back to its normal condition.
NEVER use leather conditioner on the wheel.
