For those who don't know me... 
My name is Guilty. Recently moved from NY to SoCal and needed a new ride! Had a CL63 3 years ago.

So far I still miss my CL63... Turbo Lag in first gear sucks with the new car...

Welcome back. And welcome to SoCal.
Congrats on the new C.
I think that once you are comfortable pushing the car i.e. Break in, try pushing it in s+ and race and youll find that it's less of a lag and more the mb plush none sense.
Not to compare with m156 but it's quite an engine this m177.
This car is tuned horribly in terms of response time when it is in C, especially coupled with stop start feature. Unless your driving your future x mother in law, you'll never be in C.

I'll post more pictures once I get the tints done. I think I'll be going 70% all around on Tuesday.
@cyb, I never drove the car in C mode since I got it. Always in S+ or S. The car has a good throttle response on the highway... it's just the first gear that's giving me problems.
I also need to see what I can do to make the car a bit louder.. I had Mike's Pipe on my CL63 and it made the car come alive. I'm still in the process of digesting my purchase. I would've never thought I'd end up getting a Turbocharged car. Was actually about to get a Z06 but I didn't like the attention it brings. Had one for a week and was getting so much negative attention from the cops.

That's why I'm thinking about 70% everywhere. Blocks UV, a shade darker and doesn't draw too much attention. I don't want the front and back windows to be mismatched. I hope I'm not crazy.

Good point about the lic. plate but lots of cops don't care about that but if they can't see in with dark tint they don't like that.

The CL broke down way too much and depreciates way too fast.
The new S63 is also AWD. I only buy RWD cars. I considered the AMG GT-S but I thought I'd wait a couple more of years and save the money for something better. I still get the same engine right?

I'm getting back in too....my order is coming in at the end of March.....Almost pulled the trigger on a new CTSv but its too Malibu inside....
