Emissions Letter

I got a letter from mb offering me $1000 visa gift card for an emissions test, they take my car for a few days, hand me a loaner. Anyone else get anything like that in the mail?

Yes, I got same letter. They said it will take 2-3 weeks...

Huh? Weird for sure. $1000 is tempting but what are they doing for 2 to 3 weeks with the car? How many miles....who will be driving the car....will they pay for any damages.....etc. I haven't received the offer and I'm not sure I'd go for it.
