I just spoke with my dealer, and they said the factory is no longer taking orders for 2016's and that the numbers are not yet out for 2017's. Does anyone know when 2017 orders will begin?

Are you talking about the sedans.
Last year they did not change over to the 16s till Aug. and I placed a 16 order in late June to be produced in mid Aug. I got delivery in CA in early Sept.
Maybe they are changing timing or maybe your dealer is small and does not have any allocation left.

When I ordered my 2016 sedan, production didn't begin until late July early August in the Alabama factory with delivery to Houston happening by Labor Day weekend.

I just ordered my 2017 in Seattle and they projected an early October arrival date. They said production will begin August of those year. They also had no pricing but estimated it'll be fairly close to 2016 since not much has changed. Hope that helps.

And if you want brilliant blue they said there may be some issues and they're not quite sure where production is as far as a timeline for it. May have to wait a couple months extra but I'll update when I find out here soon

I was told I could order one now but pricing would be out in July. Delivery would be October. I could cancel the order if I did not like the price.

Have you considered a leftover? I just took delivery 2 days ago. I wanted to enjoy the summer with it.

I got a great deal on a 2016. PM me, I can share with you a dealership that are discounting 2016s by 10-12k. I live in New York myself. I have just done a great deal of research as far as available cars within a 500 mile radius, so let me know which options you must have.

Thanks, Strike! I'm actually at an agreed $2k below invoice on my 17 order -- so I think that puts me pretty close to 10-12k below MSRP on my S, right?

That's pretty close to the deal I got. They're giving me 3%+300 for the diff service that's due after the break in because it burns me I have to spend 300$ after 1200 miles on an $80000 car. Lol. We did a percentage because they aren't sure on pricing yet which was pretty fair in my book.

I got the wiggle room because my buddy and I are both ordering new c63s this year from the same dealership so they were willing to work. Most of them, especially if you're someone who can't just write them a $90000 check like myself as I work for a living, will work with you on price.

I'd go 2016 but I want the remote start on the 2017!

On C43's:

Sedan - can order now, production is early August with late August delivery from Alabama

Coupe - ordering opens August, with first production starting shortly thereafter. Delivery estimate is very last September (at best, if they move ahead of schedule) or sometime in October; delivery is from Europe.

To follow up to my post above, after posting this my dealer called me to tell me the C43 Coupe ordering window had opened this morning -- ironic, right?

So, both sedan and coupe are available to order. Sedans should deliver in August, Coupes in fall (dealer thinks late Sept/early Oct).

Do you have access to the latest DOG for the Coupe? Link? As far as I know, for the ventilated seats, there was no requirement to have Designo upholstery in the C63S Coupe. So I want to check that now it's been added as a requirement for the Sedan. Thanks.

I just ordered a C43 Coupe yesterday, no Designo, with heated/ventilated seats. You should be all good.
