Congrats Dragon. What a bloody roller coaster ride you've had. Good choice in the end IMO. You will be the first silver Ed.1 on here I believe, as I think I only remember seeing the matte grey/yellow combo before.
Looking forward to your photos of your beast in the wild.

Wonderful pics Dragon, especially love that first one. I think it looks great with the stripe. I think it sets the car apart from anything else on the road, without it being to outlandish like the Motorsport Ed. 1 with the yellow decals.
That diamond stitch leather just takes what is already an amazing interior to another level I think, and leaves the competition behind.

Very Very nice DragonRR1 nice choice of colour still not sure on the decals though too boy racer looking although not as in your face as the yellow.
I have heard they are not so easy to remove due to the glue Mercedes use to put them on. But she is beautiful looking beast enjoy that sound in that lovely country side around you keep us posted on your thoughts after a few days weeks of driving her in comparison to your other motors.

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. Car feels great to drive although the run in period means I really can't get a proper feel for it, told to leave it in comfort mode... etc.. The car generally does seem to drive well and feel very solid. I have a small rattle on rough surfaces from the driver's door somewhere, very minor and not something that will bother me if it stays at the current level. The User Interface is not impressing me much so far. I may get more used to it but currently think I may use voice (which I never normally use) because just getting to my last called numbers list seems like a 10 stage process!. RTFM
@Michael640D You might have seen me post about the decal removal because I asked the dealer about it and mentioned it in another thread. The dealer just said that they had had problems with removing the newer decals probably due to the glue. Said that removing a stripe on one car (at least perhaps) caused a dent.
Very impressed with the way the dealer treated me and their overall attitude through a fairly lengthy process of delays. They were honest throughout about everything and I would be happy to deal with them again. The deal wasn't bad either! - Stafford Mercedes (UK).

Does anyone know if Mercedes UK offer the tyre rotation service (like BMW) where you take your car in, they change tyres/wheels summer/winter, for a fairly low fee per annum?

They may do DragonRR but as yet they do not have a part number or any info on winter wheels for C63 S Coupe in UK, I had to go direct to MB Germany for the info I got.

After viewing your photos I retract my previous statement. The stripe is the final touch on this car

I just got notified by my dealer of my second delay.... Car was already in flight fit the dealer when I took the order over and made a few changes. Originally scheduled for early October, then early November, now December. Vehicle now has a 10/16 build date.
