My dealership called me today, good news is I finally have a solid delivery date! Bad news is the car is still at the factory and will be delivered on the 25th
Was really hoping it was on that ship with yours, oh well, I've waited this long, 16 more days shouldn't be too bad.

Just a thought. If you have off street parking or better still a garage, which I'm sure you do You could have the car delivered. No different from 66 plates siting on the forecourt waiting for September 1.

My dealer has just confirmed that my car is HUDless... Well at least I can stop thinking about that now.
@Uga I asked about taking delivery before the 1st and the dealer said they can't do it. Has to be registered before it leaves them apparently.

Hi Guys,
Just had confirmation today that my C63S Edition 1 is due to arrive at the dealer on 26th August. The date was 28th August but has been brought forward 2 days. Getting impatient now!
Was due to be here Mid-July, then delayed to early August, then delayed again due to "Panaramic Roof issues".
Am going to wait till 1st Sept now and have booked to collect at 4:30pm :-)
Don't know how some of you guys have waited so long!! I ordered in May (it was a stock order they had coming in and was literally the spec/colour I was after so have not had to wait as long :-)

It is in magno selenite grey with the dark graphite grey stripes, extras to edition 1 were HUD and 360 camera.
Just getting very impatient now but I know after driving the C63 coupe demonstrater it's going to be worth it

When for decals removed as they looked over the top on the white car looks a lot nicer with out. The gray strip on mango selenite grey won't be in your face like the yellow would have been. Is the mango the Matt or satin finish ?

I was debating whether to have the stripes removed - the dealer said they would remove them if I wanted to - I have decided to keep them because I don't think they will stand out that much being a dark grey on magno grey - I presume the Magno Selenite Grey is a matte and not a Satin - not too sure on that!!!
Regarding tracking the car when it is on the ship - is it the 2wglobal website that you guys use? Does anyone know what the departure and arrival port is for shipment to the UK?

Personally I like the side stripes at least and specced the silver car with them in mind (having seen and liked silver ED 1 saloons). I'm not totally sure about the roof/bonnet stripe but it is an OTT car so why not have an OTT stripe
I *think* the magno is more satin than matt. I would have gone for magno myself but I just don't like the extra hassle of keeping it clean and the problems with repairing minor(ish) scratches.

I believe so, there was a picture of a coupe in a dealership that had the front grille all blacked out, looked pretty mean.
