Center cap recommendations

I blew a tire and my center cap came off. The dealership said it was $250 to replace one center cap. Anyone have any recommendations on where to find cheaper ones. I'm willing to switch out all 4 with just the center cap without the plastic provided I can find some that fits and locks in.

Left tire that still has the cap.

Right tire with cap gone.

$250!? You can buy a set of four OEM wheel hub inserts for $20 directly from your dealership.

$250 was directly from my dealership! They also quoted me $475 to replace the rear tire. I told them to just patch it and I'll go somewhere else to replace.

Here's what I bought - set of 4 for $95 from ebay. Center cap only - thought that plastic cover over the lug nuts looked cheap so was anxious to take off.

That's nuts. Unless they're any different than the ones here:

But $250 PER cap? Unless it's for a genuine center locking lug nut, that price is nuts.

I think they are different from the regular centre caps.

The 19/20 forged cross spoke centre caps for C63 coupe is EUR 600

guys, the center caps include the 5 star lug cover, they are fairly unique.

Exactly what I was looking for. I've been wanting to get rid of the plastic cover part for awhile. Do you have pictures of your wheels?

Which dealership quoted you that price?

Just ordered off of ebay. The centercaps only without the plastic looks much better.

I ordered a set of 4 of the raised style from the dealer for about $180 CAN. For a different look. I liked the subtle color it adds.

Do those center caps just snap into place? If so, do they snap in from the front, or do you have to take the wheel off and snap them in from the underside?

They snap in easily from the outside with the wheel on the car. It is more difficult to take them off without marring the wheel from the outside and it might be best to remove the wheel and push them off from the inside.

Hey - I've completely failed at finding the plastic part that covers the lugs. Any advice on where to find one? Time to start working the phones, I think.

does anyone know what size the 19in cross-forged wheels need? My center cap has come off but my lug-cover is still there.

Part number is A 000 400 24 00 and yes, they are hard to find. I lost both of mine on the passenger side. I didn't see any indication they were stolen (no marks or fingerprints on the wheels, which would be impossible to prevent if they were stolen due to the brake dust) so I'm guessing they just came off, probably after a nasty pothole or something (hard to avoid with some of the roads around here). I'm toying with the idea of modeling and 3D printing some replacements in ASA (UV- and heat-resistant/weatherproof) but the stock design is just so bad that it's a wonder they stay on at all. You can literally pop them off with almost no force.

Here's what I was able to find:

If anyone in looking for the black plastic center caps, I'd be more than willing to sell mine to you. I currently have the smaller center caps (same as the pic earlier in this topic), and the black plastic ones are just sitting in my garage collecting dust. PM me if you're interested.
