He is not in the U.S., Europe (and most of the world) gets a choice.
You can get the thicker glass in the U.S., I think there is a thread about it in the non-AMG W205 forum. I can't remember the exact post, it has to do with cabin noise over 75 or 80 mph (something like that).

This is a complete guess, but based on the German site (http://www.mercedes-benz.de/) it appears that the sedan gets the "Heat and sound absorbing acoustic glass" option (for 238.00 Euro) and the coupe doesn't.
This may mean that the coupe already comes with the acoustic glass...which would be nice.
Ok i know your not supposed to give the car to much load in the start but i had to try the care out a little and made a 2 turn drift, man this car is amazing, out of the box.
A little to friendly in the front for my liking but then again i guess a little oversteer is needed for normal people!
Anyway, the Car is amazing! Going to upload a few new shots once i find my camera!
