Deals on outgoing 2016 C63S models?

Deals on outgoing 2016 C63S models?
Anyone have luck getting a killer deal on an outgoing new 2016 model?
The bay area dealership that has a car that I'm interested in isn't interested in selling for much than invoice. My brief online research tells me that I should expect to get a significant discount below invoice on these outgoing models.
I've heard figures from 12% to even 16% below MSRP.
What do you all think?
If there's not much of a discount, I will just wait for a 2017...

They have incentive to sell these soon. Jump straight to the sales manager and tell him what you want. Also the coupe is coming out which will make the demand for sedans less. Nothing wrong with expanding your search either. A cheap flight and a day drive back could save you a lot of money.

You can definitely find the deals out there, now that the sedan's been out for over a year. You might even be able to swing a new-old-stock 2015 off a dealer lot for the same price you'd pay for a lightly used one.

What is the issue you are having on the CLS63? I assume covered under warranty? Dealer unable to fix it? Seems strange.

I currently have a 2016 BMW M3 (with lighting package, competition package, and executive package) stuck at the vehicle processing center since July 26th due to the rear differential issue. I ordered this car in early May and I was supposed to get delivery on 7/30, but now BMW has issued a stop sale/delivery on my car along with a few other M cars and there is no timetable as to when the replacement parts are going to arrive. It could be one week or it could be one month. No one knows and BMW is not doing a good job in terms of communicating the issue to its customers, so I am thinking of cancelling the order and trying my luck with another car.

Not a good deal at all. Counter with 69,900 and land on 71,500

I got my car November 2015 from Keyes in So Cal. Was offered $10K off on a 15' or $6K off on a 16'. I went with the 16'. I probably could have gotten a better deal if I worked them a little more but was still happy.
