Higher profile tires for C63S
2016 C63S
Using stock 19" AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy rims
Roads are really bumpy here, accelerating on those roads seems like the car is bouncing resulting in power loss.
I am already in comfort mode, feels more rough then my porsche cayman with no adjustable dampers. Are there alternative tires with higher profile that I can change to without changing the rims?
Read through some other forums saying that 255/35-19 and 275/35-19 will be the best for the car, will this tire set up help with my problem?
Thank you!

MB should have had a more compliant ride in comfort but they did not. I hear the new coupe might be a little better.

If I stick with my stock 19" rims
Should I change to 245/40 265/40 tires (improve compliant to bumpy roads) or
255/35 275/35 (improve compliance to bumpy roads and cornering traction)?
And if I do choose the latter (255/35 275/35), the tire will not be flushed with the rims? how will that look esthetically? Anyone tried that and have pictures?

Going to the 40 section height would make your tire about 1 inch taller and might ride a little better but would throw your speedo off about 4% ( read 96 when going 100MPH) and would degrade handling some.
Going to 255/275-35 I don't think you would be able to notice the diff in side wall width.

Which tires do you have? The Michelin or Dunlop? Mine has the Dunlops and they ride horrible. I am planning on switching to either Michelin PSS or maybe even Continental DW as they definitely are a softer riding max performance tire compared to the rest; also plan to go to 255/275.

I have Dunlops too on the 2016 C63S, and agree they ride harsh. I ditched my run flats on the BMW 335i with sports package and went to the Continental DWS regular tires and a world of a difference. I am not sure what am gonna do with these ones and waiting on people experience and feedback before I start considering anything.
Edit: I just looked and I have the Dunlops with MO1 marking. Car came in end of month picked up a week ago, so they are still putting these tires on the cars.

Anyone have pictures of stock rims with 255/275 tires?

Hey DZ you keep asking for pics but it is only .2 of an inch and half on inside and half on outside so a pic won't show anything.
