2017 C63 S coupe production just delayed one month
My dealer just contacted me to let me know my car production date got pushed from 2nd decade of August (was supposed to be this week), to mid-September. No reason provided as to why. 
Mine is a US order scheduled for Dallas, TX delivery. Looks like I'll be lucky to get the car now by end of October. Anyone else with last minute production delays? Pretty disappointing!

I have a 9/3 build date on a C43 Coupe, I've reached out to my SA to see if he's heard of any delays...won't be a perfect proxy for the C63S, but might help to see if it's a widespread AMG C-Class Coupe delay or not
Will let you know what I hear back.

I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about a one month delay from now to Sept. The car will be worth the wait. I negotiated 1% of MSRP when I ordered in May (before pricing was out). Am I justified in asking for more of a discount given the delay? I know it's out of the dealership's control but there should be some concession for me, in my opinion. What do you guys think? Also, it is possible my car will be produced before the newly scheduled date per Netstar of 9/13?

Nice! When did you order, and what exact model? I ordered May, but there was an initial delay due to HUD availability issue. Prod date has been mid-Aug since over a month until it got pushed yesterday to mid-Sept. I have no idea why.

I was initially told that my delivery to NY would occur end of August - early September. My sales person emailed me a screenshot of the production schedule, recently, and my car is now due to be completed in late September. Probably looking at late October for delivery.

I have not gotten word from my dealer. I was set for 3 decade of august so I'm interested to see if mine got delayed since we have close build dates.

I am also in DFW. Ordered the C63s coupe back in June. The dealership told me the car should be in production by September 22 assuming that there are no delays. Delivery date will probably be mid to late October. Sounds like you and I will literally be on the same boat.

I'm not holding out much hope for that thought, my guess is early November...just in time to have to drive it in snow and immediately change the tires, and never have any fun driving it.

My last three AMG's were all at least a month delayed and my 2016 GLA45 was over 90 days delayed....this is the new AMG, everyone better get used to it.

Just got contacted by my dealer today that my car just got delayed until 9/28 is when it will be done but was supposed to be on a boat by now so gotta love good ol' AMG
