C63 sedan practical questions
Seriously considering a 2017 C63 sedan. This car has to serve as a family car as well as a dream machine.
(1) what is the rear legroom like? I know the BMW 3 series is pretty limited when I sit in the front, I'm 6 feet. Does the c class have more rear legroom than a 3 series?
(2) is it hard to get in and out of?
(3) what are maintenance costs like after about 3 years?
thanks in advance.

You can get answers to your first two questions by going to an MB dealer and sitting in a 2016 C class sedan. They are all built on the W205 platform and the legroom and door opening height will be very close to identical.

I did visit a dealer and sat in the back of a c300 sedan, rear legroom wasn't great.
I'm really looking for owners' real world experience.

It's bigger than 3-series and feels more comfortable.
I picked sedan for family reason. It's can be a pain getting kids in and out of 2 door (I have a Fiat Abarth as a city daily driver).
End of the day, C63 is a sports/muscle car with four doors. It's ***** fast, but has some comfort compared to M3.
I hate ate to say, if you are concerned with maintenance costs or other typical ongoing cost issues, C63 may not be for you. It's a car for passion and drivers. For me, there is no price for that sweet exhaust note!

Is the exhaust note still great without the performance exhaust?

I think the leg room is fine for kids and mid size adults,My front seat passengers complains about the comfort of the AMG recaro seat,I got used to it lol.So I recommend the normal seats and I heard that they are ventilated on MY17.
This is the best car I have ever owned and its my daily driver.
I recommend it strongly

I was on the fence about the PE. I decided in the end to get it. Reason is that sometimes I will want to have a quieter start when I leave home early. Also, PE allows you to get louder exhaust note in comfort modes. I don't want to have it in sports+ to have the crackles. For me, it was worth the extra $$$

1.very tiny bigger compare to a 3 series. as comfort wise, my mom is 5.2ft, she said she sits fine (we just did 3hrs of travel).
2.not yet all.
3.prepare for a rear tire change every 8k km. (not the case if u drive gentle like granny)
other than this, maintain costs would be identically (or little bit more) same as the other cars

Are others getting through tires this quickly?
How much is a new set of rears?

Well, i do a lot of launch controls and mostly bang the pedal which will cause the rear tire to spin quite a lot. That was why i said 8k km.
Luckily the front tires will last ok. i go through 2 sets of rears when the fronts come to an end.
i wouldn't comment about the price becuz it really comes down which shops u go to.
But man up! Not too worry, all cars will cost u no matter what

I'm up to 12k miles on my original set of tires. Still have probably 33% tread life left. I'm pretty sure I can hit 15k no problem.
My C63S sedan is my daily driver, with a 40mi roundtrip commute including dropping off/picking up my son at daycare. Plenty of room in the backseat for mid-sized adults, I've been able to take my coworkers to lunch, even with two guys in the backseat WITH the carseat still in-place.
