Let's see the non-S's on 18" wheels.
It's just the coupe, those flares... Damn!
Polar opposite of BMW where the M3 saloon is much more aggressive than the M4 coupe.
Interesting to hear about your exhaust @Andyroo. There's some confusion over weather the performance exhaust is actually any louder, or if it just enables you to have it loud but in comfort mode for example.
Surely it's not the case of £1000 for a button and a valve?
In any case, the difference between the standard and performance exhaust is the axle back pipes and rear boxes. I expect it'd pretty pretty cheap for an exhaust builder to whip you up some straight through pipe to replace them if you wanted more volume.
The route I'm looking at is the secondary cats—apparently the noise at low throttle inputs is about the same in volume, just a little more aggressive and 'NA' sounding, with WOT being louder. Only problem is that it requires cutting and welding of the standard downpipes, and presents an issue come MoT time should the inspector look at the pipes. Emissions should be fine, so it is possible to have pretend cats put in place or the standard cats gutted or something like that.
There are catless downpipes available that sound amazing, but they won't pass an MoT, they require the standard downpipes to be cut out or the transmission to be dropped to fit, and they cost a fortune for what are essentially two wiggly straight pipes!
Im looking to have a set of 18” rear wheels made for my sedan.
Just need to confirm width and offset.
