interesting thread, i have a different take on this. Love the fact that this car has torque down low and like to drive it as such. But love the exhaust back slap pops you get in sport+ or race, but love the way the trans drives in sport though the exhaust decel doesn't sound like sport+ or race in sport. Though the exhaust is nice as well as faster throttle response in sports + and race what i don't like is if you get in the throttle (screwing around) some times the trans doesn't want to come does from low gear even after awhile of waiting (timing seems off or stopped from relaxing). I've also switched back and forth from race to sports+ back to race just to get the trans to shift up in Race mod which shows it has a mind of its own. Anyway I see myself driving in sports mod the most since it drives very good (trans rpm wise). Only reason i leave the suspension in sports + is to help wheel hop. Not sure if its the suspension or tires compond but these c63's wheel hop sucks compared to the older c63's, never had any wheel hop surely sucks ***** on these new ones feel like i'm driving a stock 03 cobra with made wheel hope. Anyway that's may take on the settings, not perfectly happy with the settings. One this is for sure I'd rather have the shift paddles on the column instead of the wheel, makes it tough for driving around in manual imo.

I only ever drive in Sports + and accasionally in race but never experienced this wheel hop some have mentioned.

When flooring it I only notice traction or no traction...

Now that I have Michelin PS4S's fitted I find it hard to even loose traction...

My understanding is Race mode holds the gear shift to redline unless manually shifting with the paddle.

And I agree with the paddle statement as I've found myself searching for the paddle when the wheels turned.

Probably shouldnt be changing gears in a corner anyway.

Race will still shift, manual mode is what will not automatically shift for you.

I'm in comfort with exhaust valves open until the engine warms up, then go into individual which is basically all Sport+ but comfort suspension.

I don't get it as why you would want the paddles on the column as when on the wheel they are always in same spot at 3 and 9 so your fingers are always on them but on column with a quarter turn they are not aligned and you would have to take your hand off wheel to shift.

S+ here also. The car just responds to my inputs so much better. You get better throttle response. Comfort is too "mushy." Sport exhaust is nowhere near as loud as the Ferraris around here so I don't feel guilty at all.

... You bought this car hoping to save gas? 🤣

All joking aside, if I'm just cruising on the highway yes, I'll go back to comfort... But usually I'm driving aggressively, and need that responsiveness. I don't think twice about gas millage... That was a given when I decided to buy a v8 with 500hp.

Some people just seem to prefer column mounted paddles. I tend to use paddles when driving aggressively on twisties so my hands don't move and the paddles are always there. If I'm driving "normally", towns, low speeds I'm in auto. I suppose I *might* prefer column mounted paddles if I used manual constantly.. Perhaps but probably not .
