c63s regular red brake noise

I know it's in the territory of the norm, but my c63 s with the regular RED brakes squeals like Hell, I tried to 'bed them in', but squeal comes back within few days. Anyone found a fix for this?

Check for stones in or around the brake discs. This was a common problem with the new BMW M4 where the thin aluminium heat shield around the disc would get stones stuck in it and throw them into the pads which made a LOT of brake squeal.

Break dust! Give the wheels and breaks a clean.

Maybe replacing the pads with aftermarket ones?

I had this same issue with my rear brakes.

The squeal went away for a few days after I would wash my car and hose off all the dust from around the caliper (do not do this when the brakes are still warm, you can damage the brakes), but the sound would eventually come back.

I ended up needing new rear pads a few months ago. Had the dealer install new OEM pads, and ever since then I haven't had any issues with noise. Don't know if it'll eventually come back, but it's all quiet for now.

How did you ask them to get the new pads for you? Did they just do it for free of charge? I guess I can goto the dealer and complain like hell ><

The rear pads were replaced when the brake wear indicator came on inside the car. I had 16K miles on the car when they were replaced.

The traction/skid control on our cars uses the rear brakes to help keep everything under control, so if you have a heavy right foot your rear pads won't last long at all.
