Bought my car in October 2016. Its a 2017 C63S. Sedan. I have downloaded the Mercedes me app and have a profile. I've tried several times to remote start my car. Nothing. Lock/UnLock works fine. Locates the care just fine. So, I go on line and look ... I see all the features listed EXCEPT remote start.

Does anyone have the ability to remote start their 2017 C63? Is it not available?

I called customer service but no help and they could not answer my questions.

Any insight appreciated.

I have a 2016 C63S Sedan and I have the Mercedes Me app open and signed in in front of me as I type. The page that first comes up shows the car above and 3 icons below it. Remote Start is on left Lock and unlock in middle and Send2Benz on right.
I have used it before and it works just fine. I'm in the US.

Recently they have had issues with it. It has to do with MB; not your car.

i have a 2016 c450, I use the mbrace app and I am able to lock unlock and remote start my car with no issues. Maybe try the mbrace app?

MB is discontinuing it and transitioning to Mercedes Me.

Does anyone have remote start in the UK? I don't have this option in the app. Can't help thinking it would be really useful this time of year.

Nope. Only thing I can do actively is lock/unlock.

I think its got something to do wth UK laws.
It's an offence to have a motor car engine running without the driver present.

Have a c43 for 10 days, remote start worked 2 or 3 times out of around 50 tries.

It stays at "vehicle security check" and does nothing.

I am from Toronto and I dont think the app works in Canada ... it sucks big time as the remote start can be a huge help in -20 weather!!!!!

Sometimes it works, sometimes I get "can't communicate with vehicle" error... but it works more than not.

After 2 calls to customer service yesterday, they told me to wait... Today I tried 4 times, the car started 3 out of 4, which is much better than 3 out of 50, as until yesterday.

To my shame, a video from Romania (my birth country) - firefighters would break your hood in order to extinguish a supposed fire - a bit of steam generated by a remote start .

I'm curious as well, because I can't even find "Mercedes Me" in the iTunes Appstore.

MB Apps is also totally useless on my car. It tries to tether with my phone, but it can't seem to get any connection to the internet.
