Dealer Scratched My CAR!!!
So I gave them my car to do service B and some warranty issues, but they had a cart scratch my car. It's about 3 inches and it's on my rear bumper. They are covering it but I'm kinda pissed. What would you do?

I'm just a little mad because I live 3.5 hours away and it is just not convient. Not super mad about the scratch itself. My SA was really sorry about it and yeah **** happens. They don't plan on scratching someone's car lmao

My car was scratched last week and I was at the dealer for some weird rear locking differential inoperative message. All it took them is to reconnect the sensor and tighten things up to make sure it wont happen again. However after I got home and some time later came to garage for a smoke I've noticed black spot on my front bumper about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide , thought it was something stuck to my bumper but it was paint stripped down to the plastic. Called manager next morning and he went thru the video files and later called me with an apology and offer to fix the bumper and make sure that it's the same way it was before (which will never happen we all know that). Bottom line is it'll happen , cars get scratched wrecked etc.
If they will fix that, let them and enjoy the car.
P.S. 3.5 hours away? Wow that would **** me off

Eh, **** happens.
The last time I brought my ML in for service, asked them to replace the wipers as well. They ended up cracking the windshield because the spring snapped the arm back just as he removed the old wiper. nbd, they gave me a loaner, replaced it with a brand new windshield.. and threw in a few things to smooth things over with me.
But I wasn't overly pissed in the first place.. it happens.
Plus, this is the same dealer that looks the other way when I bring in my piggyback'd C63S for service. Consider it a relationship builder with your dealer.

No my SA and the people that worked on it were very honest. I would not have noticed a scratch but they called me asap. Im just upset that i have to drive all the way back. I would get it done locally but they are lacking greatly in their service department.

With the drive back and leaving it for repair and a second drive to pick it up they should comp the B service. That is a lot of driving time. Unless of course it is thru a nice mountain road.

They should pay for a good body shop close to you to fix it.
