Whoa, you guys, I mean all of you guys have a list that I onlyhope I will post one day. I am probably one of the biggest AMG fan since mychildhood. So I always knew I wanted to get one. I think my list will be the mostlaughable one here though,

2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T
2001 Honda Civic LX (Auto)

To be fair though, I am just 22 years old, and none of what is in the list above was my parent’s money.

hey nothing wrong starting off with those. My list isn't all that crazy honestly. The only thing noteworthy I've owned is my c63 but I'm 25 and have purchased every car I've owned with my money. I think the only help I got was my family paid the last 1000 on my Jetta as a graduation gift. You'll work your way up eventually. I dream of owning some of the cars on the list. GT3 specifically. But it's just a dream. I love my c63
2019 Audi SQ5, 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4wd, 2016 Ford Focus se Hatchback
I will be going from this:
to a 2017 C63S coupe in March.
Here is the truck I had before the TT and gave to my older son
and my wife's A6
My jeep before the Tacoma
And the F350 along with the Jeep
Before that all the other cars were pretty boring except the 1998 Ford Contour SVT (no pics) that I had for a brief time and the 1967 Mercury Cougar in high school.
The wife and I have had 25 cars in 22 years of marriage.
My younger son is driving a 1966 VW Squareback that we are slowly restoring.
Just the sports cars I have owned. Since I was a young lad....A big gap between the Stag and Viper When the mid-life crisis kicked in
1974 Lancia Fulvia coupe.
1977 Triumph Stag.
1996 Gen 2 Viper gts.
1998 Gen 2 Viper RT10.
2007 Rouch Mustang.
2010 Gen 4 Viper acr ssg 1of 30.
2017 AMG C63s.
1987 VW GTI
1992 Toyota Pickup
1993 Honda Civic Coupe
2000 BMW 323i Sedan
1997 Toyota Tercel (Japan Spec)
2006 BMW 325i Sedan
2010 Audi Q5
2012 BMW 550i
2000 Hyundai Grandeur (Korean Spec)
1997 Mercedes C180 Sedan (German Spec and my current ride)
2017 AMG C63S Coupe (Feb 17 Delivery Date)
Of all these cars, my 100% stock 93 Honda Civic Coupe gave me the best sensation of speed due to its low hood line/dashboard, large view out front window, and low ride.
2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250
2016 Mercedes-AMG CLA45
2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe ED1 (delivery in two weeks)
Huge difference between CLA250 and CLA45 in driving experience. 250 is a 'sporty' car, while the 45 drives like a sportscar. It'll make you understand why an AMG car is so much more expensive with its performance parts.

EVO IX was fully modded 10second car with dual maps so it could run E85 fuel. It had 300kw at the wheels, gee that car was fun. I ended up with only 1 points left on my license with this car and had to sell it to get married...which was probably a smart move.

I hope someone enjoys this little story.
My very first car I purchased for $100. (1950 Rambler - to picture what it looked like think upside down bathtub) I drove that thing everywhere for three years and when it got to the point of using 5-6 quarts of oil per day (it looked like a mosquito spray truck going down the road) I installed, not very expertly, a used junkyard motor (another investment of $20) doing all the work in two days in my driveway. One fine day not long after that, on an off-road excursion, I drove up a big mound of dirt on a little trail thru the woods. I had done this many times before and knew that the car had to get some speed going in order to barely make it over the top. Unknown to me someone had been out there the day before with a front-end loader and removed most of the other side of the hill, unfortunately this being the part I could not see going up. Not hard to figure out that landing at speed from this height is not necessarily a good thing for the suspension. Anyhow, I decided it would be a an appropriate time to sell ...so, put an ad in the local shopper with full disclosure..."runs great but needs new suspension...$45 or best offer". I sold it the first day of the ad for a hard negotiated $30. It was sad watching it pull out and being driven away.
The next day the police are at my door. Seems the car was used in a liquor store hold up and broke down when they tried to make a getaway from the parking lot. It took a while for me to convince the police that I was innocent. The cops were pretty nice about it mostly and seemed to get a good laugh when I told the story about the crash customized suspension. They did track the two perpetrators down the next day from the names they had put on the bill of sale! I don't believe these guys had planned this caper out all that well.
