What cars have you owned before the C63

Seeing as this is a small forum with a small member base it would be nice to hear what everyone had before their current C63. Kinda gives some background on everyone and shows some of their knowledge and where it comes from. Also a little curious to see who went from BMw to MERC because I was convinced I would get the m4 until I drove both back to back. So post up your previous cars, starting at day one.

Mine

1)1991 ford bronco; lifted
2)1996 VW Jetta; POS
3)2001 VW Golf
4)2008 Mazdaspeed 3; extensive mods
5)2014 Infiniti q50s

Now is my 2017 C63 sedan. Iridium silver, HRE's
Also for fun I have a 2003 540i m sport and a 1997 328is with a turbo.

One car on the list I wish I still had was the speed3.

lol, I've got a speed3 for you if you're in Houston. Just bought a C63s and selling the speed. It was a fun car for sure but can't hold a flame to the 63.

Nice list! Random question for you, I'm thinking about biting on a huracan once they hit 200k. My question is, is it worth it to have a true supercar like that? Or do cars like c63s coupe etc come close enough that it's not worth double or triple the price? It would be a financially poor decision but I am a car guy through and through.

The Lambo is a great car but its clearly not a daily driver car and it gathers almost too much attention. I find myself, at times, not driving it to the mall, bank, shopping center, etc because its an "Event" car. And while it kicks *** and performs amazing I still understand and respect bang for a buck cars like the C63S, BMW M4, etc. I have found that best blend for a "junior" supercar with performance but that doesn't create much of a scene is the Porsche Turbo S. Yes those who don't have it will say its a dime a dozen or bland but those who do will swear by it and it's why I have one again after selling my 14 for a 458 which really got not enough street time. The Huracan does indeed, though, give one that special feeling with its Italian sound and looks. But I feel just as happy in the 85k M4 all tuned up, dropped, and clean because of the function of the car over its form.

Awwww I only had the Aston as a tester for 2 weeks and it didn't do it for me. The best part of the car was the cold start up but the rest was mediocre from the steering, engine, acceleration, chassis, and interior. (2015 AM Vanquish)

Whoa, you guys, I mean all of you guys have a list that I onlyhope I will post one day. I am probably one of the biggest AMG fan since mychildhood. So I always knew I wanted to get one.

I think my list will be the mostlaughable one here though,

  • 2006 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L
  • 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T
  • 2001 Honda Civic LX (Auto)
  • 2001 Honda Civic LX (Manual)
  • 2017 Mercedes- AMG C43
To be fair though, I am just 22 years old, and none of what is in the list above was my parent’s money.

Well I don't have a W205 yet, but it will probably be next
1996 SVT Cobra FBO/Nitrous
2000 Z28 FBO
2003 Roush Stage 3 BO/Pullied
2007 S4 DTM as modded as a B7 can be N/A
2009 ML550 Exhaust/ML63 Body/Suspension/Wheels/Brakes
2009 135i M FBO/1M Body/Rims 408/422 HP/TQ
2011 Range Rover Sport Wheels/Suspension
2009 C63 AMG See Sig
2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport Stock

I think a C43 will be next because they're gorgeous, but the Audi build quality was great and I love the RS5

I just traded my 14 TT Cab on a 17 TTS Cab. It's the ultimate "Do everything and do it pretty damn well" car, and will do it better than 99% of the cars on the road today. I'm not sure it's a dime a dozen though.
While the others like Lambos, Ferrari's, AM's, McLaren's are great cars in their element, it's is not my element, nor the fish bowl I wish to live in.
