ECU tune and Jerky transmission

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and have found lots of good advice here. I picked up my 1st Mercedes (C63S Ed 1 Cab) and absolutely love the car. It's a beast c/w E93 M3 cab and 2013 RS5 cab that I owned before.

I wanted a little more power and got an ECU tune and got the car back today. The power increase is definitely noticeable.

One problem that I noticed after the tune is that putting the car into gear from Park feels jerky. Also the car goes directly into motion after put into gear. Before I had to tap on the gas to disengage the parking brake and put the car in motion.
Almost feels like the car is getting minimal gas, without me stepping on the gas pedal.

Has anyone with an ECU tune have this experience? Can this be harmful to the transmission in the long run?

Thanks!

Thank you. I have not put the car on a dyno, but it feels more than a viagara effect. Less turbo lag, more torque in lower gears, throttle response feels more crisp. I'll try to get the car on a dyno in the near future and post figures.

I think for this car, when you first put the car into gear, you have to tap on the gas to disengage parking brake and the car starts moving. Other owners, please correct me if this is not right.

PM sent. Company is looking into the issue and asked to disconnect the battery overnight to see if that solves problem.

Once you put it in gear, whether drive or reverse it will automatically release the parking brake even if you're still stepping on the brakes. It also automatically engages the parking brake once you turn the engine off.

It its working as it should, the parking brake only releases when you press the gas.
Also I think it applies the parking brake if you switch of the engine and open the driver's door.

after his tune the parking brake auto releases when he puts into drive ... like a regular car would

the ecu tune must have messed with programming of parking brake engagement

or the parking brake is still engaged but due to programming of the throttle or idle the car immediately thinks the gas is applied and quickly releases the parking brake hence the jerkiness

I have a Eurocharged tune and do not experience any abruptness.

Thank you guys. PeterUbers, what you said is exactly what I meant to say.

I drove the car all day today, and the jerkiness when putting the car into gear from parking and vice versa is better. But the car still starts moving when put into gear, without me tapping on the gas.
After I hear back from the company, I'll post updates.

Otherwise, the car is tons of fun driving after the ECU tune.
Next mod, I'm looking into AWE Exhaust track edition.
