RW Carbon GTX spoiler

Just wanted to share the install of the RW Carbon GTX spoiler. Got it yesterday along with mirror caps (installed yesterday) and installed it this morning. Took about 1.5 hours total (if that). MODE carbon rear diffuser will be here in another month or so.

Probably the most difficult part was getting the residue from the OEM spoiler off the trunk. Ended up going with the 3M residue remover + heat and was able to ball it all up.

Removing the spoiler was easy. Used a heat gun and floss to get about 12" from one side up, then used heat as pealing back slowly until it was removed.

Installing was easy. Put 3M tape on, then positioned it just right and marked the position with tape. Then I exposed the tape and applied a little heat. Pressed the spoiler on the trunk and applied some more heat to ends and pressure to it to stick down all the way. Came out pretty nice IMO.

Here are some pics:

Finished!
