Removing Rear boot Spoiler AMG C63s Coupe Advice

I have an Edition 1 rear boot spoiler on order and wanted to see if anyone has removed one and can confirm it's just fixed by foam tapes, and not bonded.
Any tips welcome also tips for fitting the ED 1 new one.
Also strugging to see if paint code for the gloss black paint used? TIA

I'm thinking it's the same thing as the non ED1. Took me a little bit to remove mine.
You will need a heat gun and dental floss or fishing line.

1. use heat gun and start heating up the edges on one side of the spoiler, concentrating on the end.

2. Use the floss/line and start working it under the side that you heated up. You should be able to lift up the corner just a little.

3. From what I read, at this point, you keep working the line under while heating the tape. I was able to keep lifting up on the spoiler while applying heat under the spoiler. Keep doing this (slowly) until it lifts completely off.

4. I used the 3m residue remover with my finger to get the residue off. Had to ball it up. Was pretty much a pain in the *** and took forever, but it worked.

5. Make sure to get it TOTALLY clean in order to apply the new one.

Let me know if you would like tips on installing the new one.

Thanks for the info so similar to removing badges that I have done in past just far bigger task, I used the dental floss on that.
I thought by looking that its foam tape was hopping no bolts or bonded bu glue.
Tips on instulation would be great I'm removing standard AMG C63s coupe spoiler and installing the Edition 1 spoiler, thanks for your input

No problem!

For installation, was pretty simple, just used 3m moulding tape.

1. Put the tape on the spoiler, but do not peel the backing off.

2. Align the spoiler exactly where you want it on the car and use blue masking tape to hold it down.

3. With the masking tape, mark a couple points so you know exactly where it will go back on.

4. Take the spoiler off and peel back the tape cover

5. Use some heat and warm up the tape

6. Working SLOWLY from one side, place the spoiler on the car

7. Apply ample force to get the tape to seal. You may want to apply a little more heat to the edges where the tape meets the car.

8. I'd leave it for a few hours before driving it.
