Cricket Noise From Stero
Hi Guys,
Approx 10 mins or so in to the start of my car, I get a "Cricket" sort of noise for say a second. Always the exact same time, same length.
Not a trim noise, defiantly from the stereo.
I am guessing its for the surround sound to check how many people or objects in the car?
Anyone know?

I get it mostly after driving 5-10 minutes, every single ride, but it happened also at the start up.
I think, it is interference between sound system and key-vehicle authorisation, but i could be wrong.

If you can find the "dash squeak thread" then you'll see i had the same noise and it annoyed the hell out of me. I got the dealer to investigate and it was some function that isn't even needed so they turned it off. I can't remember what it was now but I reported in the thread. It hasn't done it since.
