Could We Make a C63(S) Page?

preach borther...preach
The man's got a point. Let me expand on it. And full disclosure to some readers......I traded my 09 C63 for a C450. So, while I could probably argue both sides pretty well, uh, no.........not quite an AMG in my book. One man, one engine is part of the disconnect. More importantly, the 450 is only 2 steps from the Looney Bin. The 63 is a permanent resident of the Nut House. Un Veterano.
But I very much appreciate all the upgrades Affalterbach has put into the (already pretty damn nice) C400 to make it the 450, then the 43.
That said, my ego doesn't mind being little brother and not quite a Made Man yet. Still a Mob Associate; frickin errand boy. All B.S. aside, the 5 years of daily driving in the Steel Gray 63 were very nice. A little wild at times, however I survived and may get something with that first-ballot engine hall-of-famer M156 in it in the future.
Please keep us separate MB World.....please? Both are pretty stout and badass vehicles in their own right, but I need to stay in my class, admittedly. We're still special though, with 4matic and V8 power, yet really good gas mileage.
Long story short, a damn 340i M-Sport ain't no @$(^ing M3!! Nor is a an S5 even remotely resembling an RS5.....even with the upcoming switch to the Panamera's 2.9 (I think) TT V-6. So let's not get carried away lumping 43 with 63.
Last, but not least, we must show some RESPECT to the mighty C63 and all previous AMG C-Classes. They always have taken power to 'do you need it? No. do you want it? Yes!' levels, but now they even handle more like DTM cars. Thereby having earned their own thread.
RESPECT!! Dammit. Get it right.

Okay guys/gals, we are going to separate the forums. Real AMGs on one side, the rest on the other. It should be active in a few days but it will take me some time to go through all the threads and move them to the appropriate sub-forum. If you see something out of place, please let me know.

Thank you. It isn't even about being a real AMG or fake AMG. They are two completely different cars with different power trains. Parts are not interchangeable and tuning pads appear to be completely different. There is no point to keep them together when they are so different

Unpopular opinion but if something comes from the factory with a amg badge being sold as a amg who am i to say its not a real amg. It may not be the big v8 but like any car company the less you pay the less you get.

2021 Mercedes C63s AMG Coupe
Okay guys/gals, we are going to separate theforums. Real AMGs on one side, the rest on the other. It should be active in a few days but it will take me some time to go throughall the threads and move them to the appropriate sub-forum. If you seesomething out of place, please let me know.
I was just wondering if you can clarify what you mean by the real AMGs on oneside and the rest the other?
Do you mean a new subforum is going to be created within the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vehicles section or is it going to be placed in Mercedes-Benz Sedans?
To me it does not matter if it is separate. As long as I do not see any C63 owners butting into our forum and leaving posts like "That's not a real AMG". Like I have said a lot of times before, it is not up to anyone here to make that call. Mercedes classified it as an AMG, even the sales of the C43 is counted towards the stats of the AMG division. EOD they decide what that three lettered badge entails to them, not the buyers.
As for convenience of having two separate forums, except for the powertrain, suspension and few body panels, these two cars were sharing everything else. Majority of the threads in this subforum were addressed by users from both the groups which in my eyes were way more constructive. Majority of the issues here were powertrain independent ones, which both of the groups could have supported and has been supporting until now. To me forums are there for us to troubleshoot problems for each other and provide feedback that most of the dealerships can’t. Starting from rattling issues to exhaust options, these cars shared a lot of problems that I have seen both the groups tackle for each other.
Let’s be honest though, the separation in question has little to do with the convenience and almost everything to do with the ego that is fed by paying $15k more for a car.
That’s just my opinion. Feel free to disagree, haha.

^You must have missed my smiley face. Said tongue in cheek. Two forums will now be formed because numerous members have requested the change. One forum will contain C450/C43 AMG threads while the other will be populated by C63/C63s topics. Any topics that fall somewhere in the middle will likely be duplicated and placed in both subforums.
BTW, Please direct any future complaints regarding the term, "real AMGs" to Vic55. He is actually Dieter Zetsche on the down-low.

So everything you said that makes the c63 different from the c43 is the same reason that the c300 is different than the c63 should we just make everything one forum? this is mostly due to the fact that when I am looking for tire fitments with the search tool I do not want to be sifting through the c43 guys which require completely different fitment. But you can tell yourself its an ego thing.
