Post your wait times - updated
Wanted to get an idea of what people's wait times look like currently for the coupe.
10/1 - Placed order, told 2nd week of november build
Halloween update - Told it was pushed back to 1st week of dec
Last week - Added red seat belts hoping they would deny me saying i was locked in, nope pushed back to 2nd week of dec.
Looking like end of January/early Feb for delivery now if that... This is my first MB, coming from bmw last 7 years of my life. Ive never had to wait 3 months on any of my previous orders to START a build
I am located in NJ if that is of any relevance

My C43 sedan order was placed in "The System" on Nov. 12.
Shooting for a Feb. 1 delivery...
Much better wait time than Porsche. I placed an order Nov 23 and am told May/June delivery.

What paint did you special order?! I am in Canada as well, Vancouver... i was pondering special ordering the iridium magno, but was told it could take a very very long time as special orders usually do, especially with paint like the magnos

Hyacinth red, I won't be driving it until May. So as long as its here before then, I am ok with the wait.

By the way, an option someone suggested to me I though I'd pass along if you haven't thought of it already:
XPEL Stealth wrap. It provides a very nice satin like matte type finish over your exisiting paint color...and most importantly it protects your car. Tired of it after a while? (which is of my concern re magno other than maintenance), just take it off and you still have your original paint, just as new. Some local cats with a very good rep here in GTA I'm going to look into - their instagram pictures are stunning.

2017 C43 Coupe
I ordered a C43 coupe in the US. Brilliant blue exterior, black leather interior, premium 3, HUD, black ash inlay. My time frame was as follows
9/3 placed order
told build date 3rd week October with delivery by 3rd week of Dec
10/20 confirmed built
11/16 picked up at dealer
I was very pleasantly surprised. I had hoped the car would get here by December at all. Plus with all the discussion on here of missing options I was happy mine was as ordered.

Does anyone know how long the wait is usually after you get a VIN number from the dealer? This means the car was built right? And now how long can be there wait?
I am in Toronto, and I just cannot wait! I dunno how you guys who had to wait 6 months did it. Seriously it is too much.

Depends on the car. C43 coupes and all C63 are coming from Germany as far as I know. Probably 3-4 weeks after build for those. Maybe shorter for C43 sedans coming from Alabama, US? Port and customs delays may add time.
) on 3rd Nov, expected to be built mid Feb with delivery at start of March
