I've been on the fence for months but now glad I waited. The order guides for the 2018 M4's just came out. Option prices are way way down AND more equipment is now standard. The M3 order guide is not out yet but it looks like about a 5K decrease (optioned the same).
Let's see if the C63's include more freebies for 2018.

The new standard features are listed in the first post in the thread... it's not much. For 2017 the hands-free access and electronic trunk closer were part of the Premium 2 package; they're standard now.
The biggest change is how the packages have been grouped... previously, for instance, if you wanted the adaptive LED headlights, your only option was to get the Premium 3 package, and that included all the driver assistance options, navigation, etc.
Depending on how the final package pricing shakes out, it seems like it's a better overall structure where you can get more or less exactly what you want without being nickel and dimed for every option (eg, like Porsche.)
I expect for most people the price difference is not going to be dramatic, although the car they end up with may be closer to ideal spec than before. I'm estimating my MY2018 order is going to be within a couple grand of a similarly (slightly less) equipped MY2017.

Your standard features list for the MY 2018 c63s coupe shows a body color rear spoiler. That was seen on all cars for MY 2017.
I sure hope that is true for MY 2018, because the MBUSA.com website has it completely deleted in the photos, and the only option offered for a spoiler is carbon fiber.
However, if you compare photos of the trunk lid for 2017 with the 2018 photos on MBUSA. com, it looks like they reshaped the trunk lid to include an integrated spoiler as part of the lid.
I don't want carbon fiber, and the car would look hideous without any spoiler at all.
Any ideas?

Under "AMG body styling" here:
https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...s-C/model-C63C
The C-Class and AMG join forces in style. The double crossbar grille is underscored by a deep air dam with an "A-wing" design featuring mesh intakes and a color-keyed insert. Sculpted side sills bridge the standard 18-inch wheels. The deep rear valance embraces the four trapezoidal AMG tailpipes and black diffuser. And a highly effective, wind-tunnel-shaped rear spoiler brings the flowing lines to a dramatic finish.
I'm pretty sure it's a glitch in the configurator. I know for the MY2017 configurator, when you selected the night package, it would change the spoiler to black, even though I'm pretty sure US-spec cars always got a body-colored spoiler.
Now that there is a specific-spoiler option, it is not showing the stock one correctly. I'm guessing they started with the Euro-spec options and then tweaked it for US-spec and missed something.
