2017 C63S Coupe w/ 2K miles wrecked on 12/23/16
Repairs took 3.5 mos. with a total bill of $58K. Almost a total loss, but not quite. Good news is I got the car back last week and it's perfect aside from a few new interior rattles I don't remember having before the crash. Drive train, suspension, engine, transmission, performance, handling... all seem perfect. There were many parts delays since it's a new vehicle, but Ewing in Plano, TX (MB-certified body shop) did a great job overall. Last pic shows the car after repairs were completed.
Should I ask about diminished value with my insurance, or will that only add insult to injury to the already large payout and run the risk of them dropping my coverage or going up further on my premiums?
thanks for the pics - the structure took the hit well - what was your speed at the moment of the impact? Was it a full impact with no flex or did the other cars move?

Wow - $58k and 3.5 months? That one bites!! Sorry to hear. That's worse than mine. So far up to $30k on my estimate to get fixed.
As to Diminished value from what I've been reading I don't think any states allow a first person at fault diminished value claim. Hope you can though...
