Dinan looking for a 4.0L turbo

As of right now I think the closest one would be Redline Speed Worx in Green Brook, NJ (roughly 40-50 miles away).

Is it similar to BMW install by just tapping into the MAF and turbo lines? Is it still fully warranted (if dealer doesnt cover due to tune) if we do install ourselves?

As an example, lets say you were installing and didn't disconnect the battery prior to install and managed to fry the factory DME in the process. Dinan wouldn't cover that.

...and just to keep appetites whetted.. the Dinan unit on mine is still chugging along after 5000+ miles of testing on the tune. I'm taking it to higher altitudes later this month hopefully to continue to get some testing.
ZERO issues. Even in 100F+ degree weather and stop-and-go traffic.

hadn't had a chance to post my feedback on this, but I'm the second beta tester for the piggyback on the C63s coupe.
I been running it for around a month now and it has been flawless, no CEL, no hiccups, just upgraded fun. THe car is currently in the shop for service, but when I put the bypass in the car, just to have it serviced, it definitely has a seat of the pants difference, suddenly I can't break the wheels as easily from 35mph vs using the piggyback.
Most apparent is the torque increase on this tune. I look forward to how it will perform when I have the downpipes and the full exhaust added on the piggy back.

Update from my end: Nothing to report. I forget I have a tune. The power is there, don't get me wrong. No loss. It's just that it's been so smooth and linear, I don't really get reminded on a daily basis that I'm not stock.
Car performed just fine going up into higher altitudes (Lake Tahoe and Reno area). I still average about 19-20mpg on a tank, daily driven commute in ****ty 101 traffic.
From Dinan's status, there's a bit of an ongoing non-technical delay, but I'll let them clarify.

Spoke with a rep there earlier and they are supposed to start accepting orders for this unit in the next week to 10 days! Just waiting on the arrival of the wiring harness , parts to assemble are in route !! Yeah !! Guessing usual suspects like auto talent will be taking orders for these ? But almost there folks !

Would be nice to side by side test this with the Brabus piggy (I assume theirs is a piggy since it says plug and play). Hoping the Dinan is a much much better bang for the buck (I realize the irony of saying that about a Dinan product).

It won't be close in terms of pricing. Details coming soon.

Well every time someone asks in here “what’s the latest update?”, Dinan probably raises the price by $50... seeing the demand. people are probably shooting themselves in the foot by constantly asking, instead of letting Dinan just release it when ready.

To be fair, they realize there is interest and there have been long periods with no updates after the issue was communicated as just waiting on a supply of connectors. Don’t need daily updates but a checkpoint post here or there couldn’t hurt.

I'm sure Dinan has done their research and is very aware of their marketplace and the competition. I don't think people checking in for updates is going to increase their price point. I have a feeling they anticipated high demand or at lease high interest.

i was halfway joking. Lol.

They charge $299 for the C43 3.0 V6 so I would think it would be nowhere near $2000 for our c63
