Wow! That looks sweet! Love the plate too. Looks great in that colour. Enjoy mate.

Do you ever go to any meets? What part of the country are you in? I only ask so I could see it in person sometime. Bet it's a right beast

No the plate is just a photoshop

Yorkshire area. I have been to the odd "Supercar" meet but not for a year or so. It is a bit of a beast. I miss the C63, loved the way it looked especially inside and it was fun, but the RS6 is ridiculously quick.

I was thinking that plate was too good to be true! Looks epic

I bet the RS6 is quick and the 4WD must make it easier to exploit the power too! All the best with it.

Evo X, C63S Edition 1 Coupe,
So the car has been delayed and delayed again. It was supposed to be delivered in early May and now we're nearly at the end of June.

It's not all bad though, Mercedes Milton Keynes have kindly loaned me an E63s to play with until my C63s Edition 1 arrives in a week or two. I've had the E63s for about a week and am loving every minute. The E63s is an absolute beast and a real beauty too. Pics below.

Nice. Good move by MB Milton Keynes supplying you with something roughly on par. Hope you get your Ed 1 soon. Mine was delayed several times too but it did arrive in the end!

Cheers. I was getting annoyed with BM Milton Keynes since I had to keep chasing them and they didn't have answers so definitely a great gesture for both of us. They secure the sale and I get to use a similar AMG car that's already run-in!

Wonder why they're delayed so often? The car's arriving into port today and should be at the dealer next week. Fingers crossed!

I really don't know. My car was sat in Bremerhaven for more than a week. I actually gave up in the end and was in thr process of buying another car when the dealer contacted me and said it had turned up. I don't think the dealers really know what to say and are probably being given the run around themselves.

Nice loaner.. lol. Wondering if they're trying to upsell you to the E63S.

It does sit pretty sweet but the road camber might help it too. I'll try and check it out on a flat surface.

I think you might be right, it's working. I'm thinking about how I'll miss the digital display and 5 seats. I think all that will go away once I'm in the C63s. Maybe I'll upgrade to an E63s sometime later.

Man, I'm not sure I would want an E63S loaner right before my Coupe. Don't get me wrong, I love my Coupe (RWD fun, looks great, etc), but the E63S is just a better car in every aspect... faster, better traction, 4Matic+...

The C63S Coupe is going to feel a bit slow after driving that hammer around for a few weeks!

By the way, that particular E63S you have is actually a pre-production unit (you can tell because the side badge under "V8 BITURBO" says "4MATIC", while productions models have "4MATIC+" with a red plus sign.

That's a very good point and I did think about it, but just couldn't resist trying the E63s out. I really don't like the CLA, which was the only other car they could offer. I'm glad I got to try the E63s and it might be the one I get after the C63s.

The C63s will be different, less power, less traction, lighter, more responsive steering, more twitchy so it might not match the power or the E, but I'm sure I'll find things to love about it in time.

Also unless you can compare them side by side, the small difference in power won't be as noticeable (I hope!)

I didn't realise it was pre-production car, you've got some pretty good knowledge and some eagle eyes too!

My car finally arrived at the end of June. I've had PPF applied on the front end, light tints on the front windows and de-badge & changed badges to matt black for added menace.

Really enjoying the car so far, it’s a lovely place to spend time in. I'm still wearing her in so will be another month or so before I can really press on, but she's a real thing of beauty. Pics below.

Looks fantastic Gurj. Makes me miss mine! You must have one of the last ones to land in the UK if not THE last one!

Thanks Dragon . It is the very last one made! The dealer told me when I went to collect it.

How are you getting on with the GT? Is it quite different to the C63s?

It's an awesome car Gurj, very different to the C63. Much harder to make it lose traction, lower driving position, harsher ride although it is acceptable. It feels a bit more planted perhaps, a tiny bit quicker. It does share elements of the interior, steering wheel, dials and the iffy user interface so there are similarities. I still haven't driven it enough to make my mind up about it, partly because I've been chasing a rear hatch rattle!

Have you had someone bang on the glass while you were "in" the hatch??? That car will be next to impossible to correct that while driving... LOL

I climbed out of an M4 and after a month of ownership I'm still amazed at the difference between the two cars, there is daylight between them, the Benz is superior in every way.

Oh no! Not another rattle! I sense it's days might be numbered unless you can find the cause!

I've seen a few pics of the GT interior, and dials and switch gear look similar to the C. It does look great, especially from the outside. Thanks for sharing your comparisons, I was thinking about getting a GT before the C, but haven't driven one and wondered how they stacked up.

Hope you're able to find the cause of the rattle and get back to enjoying the car.

It's a shame that the NA market has to have those bumps on the back. I really don't like the look of them and agree it looks much better without. Maybe one day, MB will design NA crash safety regulations in mind so your cars don't need them. Let's hope
