This is exactly why this is personal preference... I could not stand to sit in the standard seats for 20 mins let alone a long trip.. my back was killing me. the lower part where the lumbar is was in my back the whole time and it was completely deflated. You can even see in pics side by side that you don't sit as deep in the seat and the lower part of the back rest is protruding more so you get less leg/knee support.. The reg seats have more cushion the perf seats have more side support with the bigger side bolsters and leg/knee support.. If you drive spirited the perf seats will support you much better. I slid around too much in the standard seats and again felt like i was sitting on a book.. I am 6ft 170 and i have no ***.. goes from back to thigh.. no ***..lol and the perf seats had plenty of cushion for me.

2019 Coupe
I recently collected a 2019 C63s Coupe. I absolutely love the performance seats. They adjust everyway possible, with 4 way lumber adjustment, cushion bolster adjustment. Sqab (back rest) bolster adjustment, knee support adjustment & every adjustment is electric with memory & heated seats. (Ventilated as well in some countries). On top of this all other conventional adjustments are electric as well.
My drive home from collecting was all on mountain & ‘A’ roads & approximately took 2 & half hours. I had no seat fatigue or wasn’t uncomfortable any anytime. I’d say they are amazing & looks match the car; fabulous........ I’m 5ft 10” & approximately 86 kilo.

I know for a fact that the leather seats in my 2010 C63 were in fact Napa Leather. And I can say with some certainty that if Mercedes says that their seats are leather in any of the C63 or C63s their leather.

I would bet it's cow hide.. They get the hides from southern Germany but don't specify an animal type.. It's Napa leather not leatherette. Napa leather can be made from cow, calf, goat, or lamb hides.. They buy full grain hides then process it to look how it looks in our cars.

I have recently purchased a 2019 c43 collecting next week as overseas with business - I assumed it would have been leather as didn’t say the eco suede type but when googling I notice the website says leather look for the c300 and above but then performance sears show the suede too but I don’t remember my car being that type idk 😐 never getting a car while overseas again 😂
