Vehicle Voltage - settings loss and other issues???
Ok, input suggested.
When I got my Coupe, the logged voltage was a steady 15.0-15.3v.
It moved, but it was small changes, in the neighborhood of .1v max , and slowly.
Now, after all my problems, including neutered throttle, ECU settings loss, loss of media card index for search, etc., I noticed. My voltage now jumps betwen 13.9 and 15.3, but mostly stays 14-14.3v ....
As three have been other reports of voltage impacting car systems, anyone have similar experience???

How are you reading the voltage? I do a lot of short commutes to work, approx 8kms, and eco stop never activates anymore. It used to when the car was new. If I do longer drives then it will activate and I suspect it has to do with the amount of charge in the battery. I'm keen to measure my battery voltage to check my theory. Every so often I will also get a rough idle and I think it's related. So I wouldn't be surprised if your issues are related to battery voltage as well.

When I initially posted my issue about more turbo lag after the update I got a reply that the same thing happened to someone else. He said he took it back to the dealer and the voltages were messed up. The dealer fixed the voltage and the car felt back to normal. That could be your issue.

That's why I asked if there was a way to do the reset myself....
In other words, would a clear codes work?

In my old Audi, over voltage would cook the various ECUs one at a time.....
If the battery was bad, the over voltage situation would literally destroy Audi electronics over time....

My car is a 2016. I have never seen a voltage in the 15's. Always high 14's and only varying by 0.2 volts.
The only thing I'm not sure about is how accurate the obd2 port is for voltage readings??? I imagine your hard wired radar detector would be more accurate.

I'll have to compare...
Thx!
