I'm in the same boat as you. And was worried about the car being too loud (hard to do I'm sure).

Any feedback from you guys running factory performance exhaust and no cats? Does it still get pretty quiet in quiet mode? Nice and loud when open? How's the smell? Overwhelming? Or subtle?

I am keen on fitting new down pipes with race / sport cats but dont want to destroy my std down pipes or drop the gearbox so can it be done?

If you don't want to cut them then the gearbox has to be removed.

Hey bro. My car is in the shop today SEDAN for secondary cat delete. Is there a lot difference in terms of exhaust sounds or pops when you down shift? Thanks

Is there an option to have the DPs ceramic coated too? And If I get the catless Downpipes and a tune later on, will the O2 bungle be enough to eliminate the CELs?

In terms of cost, I would get the coated locally. With a ECU calibration for catless downpipes the monitoring of the secondary O2 sensors is turned off.
