New C63S Estate has arrived
8 months after the original order went in my C63s estate has finally landed here in Melbourne. I've had a couple of things done immediately to the car - 20 inch forged wheels, KW HAS kit and the chrome blacked out.
The car is absolutely mighty - even brand new the engine sounds fantastic and has so much grunt.
I've posted a few pics here. Look forward to running the car in and enjoying a few long drives away from the city traffic!

Looking nice
How come some cars have the silver chrome exhaust tips and some are black exhaust tips?
I have the black exhaust tips and I thought this is because I have the night package.
Ur car has the night package but it comes with chrome exhaust tip.

You know your night packs. You are right - the car did come with black exhaust tips but I asked the dealership to change them to chrome. I felt the black ones just get lost in the rear diffuser from more than 10 feet away and I've always had a thing for the exhaust set up on the W204 C3 Black Series. So it is a night pack car with chrome exhausts. I think the edition 1s were the same?

Really happy with how that turned out and a simple item to do. Those who got the exterior carbon pack will have that part in carbon fibre. Instead of AUD$8900 for carbon pack I paid AUD$130 to wrap the spoiler. Think your car is white yes? Reckon it would look great as you have the black skirts going up the rear window I think.

Thanks for the pics. It really works with the Grey. Wasn't sure whether it would look as good on the white. Did you wrap the rear section of roof after the panoramic roof or have you left that? More pics would be great if you can. Thanks again.

Car is under cover in the garage as it is wet and cold here in Melbourne. Will get a chance to take her out on Monday so will take a few specific roof shots and post them here.

Works on grey as you say, think black or carbon fibre look would work well on white.
BTW this car is absolutely awesome. Really enjoying it.

You must be super excited after that long wait....
Loving the black out, I'm actually about to do mine next week. Bits and pieces gloss black.
Did you wrap the front grill or paint it? - Matte black?

I plastic dipped the emblems and front grill - could have wrapped the front grill but the firm I used here in Melbourne recommended plastidip. Wouldn't have been my preference but actually looks very good in the flesh. It's a matte finish where as the rear chrome boot handle and top spoiler are wrapped in gloss black. Works somehow.
Super happy with how it's turned out after such a long wait.

I'm painting my front grill and rear diffuser gloss black, dropping it off next week. Will post some pictures after.
Stu has ordered the new wheels and should be in soon too. Can't wait

Full black out will make your car look super mean. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels.

Outstanding work - looks fantastic, particularly with the black out on the rear chrome & badges. Did you do that at the same time or were they already done?
It's an easy low cost way to highlight the C63 spoiler on the wagon and works really well with the existing black surrounds of the rear window.Anyone with a non-black car should do it.

Congrats bud! Car looks impressive and love the customisation. I much prefer black over chrome too. Good luck and enjoy! I'm about half way through running my C63S coupe in and it's pretty hard to resist pushing on.

Finally got some clear time to take the car out for a proper run. 200km round trip through the twisty country roads and vineyard region of the Yarra Valley just out of Melbourne.
Oh my word this car is awesome. Even respecting the run in period of <4000 rpm the engine is mighty and made mincemeat of overtakes. And the razor sharp handling through the twisty stuff was absolutely amazing. The wide low profile rubber stuck beautifully with phenomenal grip and powering through 3rd and 4th gear sweepers was such good fun. Even the fuel economy was good after my previous ML63. Glad I went for the 20 inch rims over the 19s as the ride was fine, not too harsh at all.
Only downside? The road noise from the big tyres was a bit loud but I did have the stereo off for most of it just to hear the engine. Coming back into town the tunes when back on and couldn't hear a thing from outside.
Think this car is going to be fun

Hi new owner of 2018 c63s estate in Melbourne. Silver. Just wondering where you got the wrap and plati-dip done and how is it wearing after a few years.
Loving the car after being in BM's for 20 years!!
