M177 Output Capacity
Any idea on when/what components start breaking in the m177 or the MCT? Specifically at what power and torque level...i.e. will a simple tune cause problems down the line (Renntech/Eurocharged)

The MCT is rated up to 1000 nm (737 ft-lbs torque), so consistently exceeding that torque limit may result in trans slipping and/or damage. The engine itself is extremely stout, I don't think anyone has explored the power limits on the stock internals. The M177 itself is very over engineered - if I were to guess, 750 hp is probably a safe number.
A tune and bolt-ons on stock turbos won't cause any issues.

Given it's mostly the same engine in the 600+ hp stock E63S (yeah yeah, swapped a few things, but mostly for breathing) for factory warrantied longevity, I'd say the safe limits for aftermarket might be even higher.
Seems like Chris was told or hinted at that this engine series would be capable of much, much more.
The weak point will definitely be the transmission.

in the end its as history repeats itself, just like the last gen with the 6.2l amazingly it could even with stand adding a super charger but the trans seems to be the limiting factor once again.

So tune only SHOULD be within the limits of the vehicle yes?

Can't wait to here and who tuned it.

How long have you had the car at that level? Has it been since the time of that video (Sept. 2019) or longer than that? Did you get a re-tune after adding the Eventuri intake? Any performance gain from it over stock (or whatever you were running before)?
