Lovely! All that's missing now is some proper aftermarket wheels

Do you mind sharing your experiences, dyno graphs, pictures, time slips etc on my 'Who's Upgraded their Turbos' thread.
Im sure everyone would like to hear how your car runs with the DMS tune and turbos.

I am afraid that I have not tracked the car and have no intention of running it down the quarter mile. I may dyno it. Re the Turbo's I can say that I had a good look at them before they left and when they came back to the shop they showed them to me before fitting them back on and internally they bore pretty much no resemblance to what they looked like before. The engineering was superb, the entire turbine wheel assembly was replaced with larger impellers and the size of the inlet and exhaust outlets was significantly larger. My instructions to DMS who I have known for many years was to go as hard as they could on very aspect of the tune and the Turbo's. If it wasn't for the numbers stamped on them we all thought they had shipped up different Turbo's. They spin up much faster and I can hear a whine as I turn off the ignition which is the sound of the Turbo's spinning down. That was not present before. It also has lovely whooshing sound as boost is released via the Renntech blow off valves. The car accelerates ridiculously hard in all gears except for 7th where it tails off. If the traction control is switched off I get savage wheel spin in the lower 3 gears. So much so that it frightened my 27 year old son so badly that he has gone from begging me to drive the car to "its too much for me Dad". Same for my wife who has a heavy right foot and In sport+ she accelerated away from a set of lights sideways up the road and then returned white as a Ghost and said I am never driving that car again. Mission accomplished !!! The tyres are the optional Pilot Sport 2 Cups 285's at the back on 10.5 inch rims so I see no point in changing the wheels as I really like the original design and the car handles very well. We ended up with a 13 degree rake to the front to dial the factory understeer out and a lot of time adjusting the suspension. We went from a max mid corner speed on our little "test track" of 65 KPH to 110KPH it essentially is a sweeping 90 degree corner. We are running significant toe out on the front and a lot of neg camber. My only regret is not being able to find a better cooling solution for the charge coolers and oil cooler and having shorter gear ratio's. I have the DMC rear wing but decided not to fit it as it ruins the lines and is not functional. The sound is the best I have had out of a turbo car by a huge margin. I asked DMS to make sure I had plenty of pops and bangs and they delivered. I fitted Ceramic coated downpipes up to the 200 cell racing cats.
I love the car so much I canceled my GTR order after driving one as it was quite slow by comparison and did not handle as well and for double the price it was a no brainer. I am waiting on Weistec or someone to release a decent intake and cooling system. I am about to get DMS to push the tune harder as this is test tune to make sure everything is running properly with the new Turbo's. I should probably stick it on the dyno before and after.
Does the dyno do much damage to the transmission and tyres?
Is it possible to fit different gear ratios ? Has anyone done this?
Please feel free to ask any more questions and I will answer the as best as I can, if anyone needs my suspension setup settings I am happy to oblige.

Thanks David, I have looked and looked, just can't find anything that lights my fire. I did see a set of wheels on an E63 W213 wagon on another site with bronze rim edges and black centres.

I love the Magno color and edition 1 body kit, makes the coupe look so aggressive. btw, how much better and louder is it with with the downpipes/akrapovic exhaust combo? I'm guessing you have the renntech downpipes?

No I used the Armytrix, custom made. It is a completely different sounding car to standard. I am glad I had 200 cell race cats installed otherwise it would have been way to loud. As it is I can dip down into Sport or Comfort and close the exhaust valves and thats just quiet enough to make a phone call. Cold start with the valves open is pretty epic though. Don't know if you can post sound files on here ? If I can I will.

Send me over a PM or email so we can exchange numbers and chat over whatsapp. I'd love to bouncing some ideas off each other in regards to wheel options.
why did he remove the bumper, my installer (one of the best in florida) said that you need to wrap the bumper on the car, if you remove it and wrap it, it will flex and no go on correctly
