K-MAC Camber Kit - Front
For those that have followed my threads would know that I've been through a couple of sets of tyres in the last year or so.
My factory fronts and rears prematurely wore out even at standard height and factory alignment.
Then once lowered and the new tyres were fitted they had no chance even with a revised alignment.
The issue of premature wear effects both non-lowered and lowered cars due to no or very little factory adjustment.
I will update everyone once the kit has been fitted but I want to give my first impressions of this kit when unpacked.
Packaging was presented in a nice box - good first impression.
Compenents were bagged and sealed.
Components look to be well manufactured and are quite robust in feel.
Once fitted I will have the alignment set to get as much life out of my new Michelin PS4's.
Also, this eBay unit only adjust camber and not caster.
The K-MAC units adjust the bottom of the tyre inwards and have camber and caster adjustment.
The same goes for the K-MAC rear kit (Camber and Tow) which I will be order in the next day or two.
I did a lot of research into what's currently available for our cars and the K-MAC kits have the most adjustment over the other kits I could find.

About 15 000kms from memory.
Rear had had the same west but not as bad as they were removed earlier and swapped for the 295's.
One set at standard height and a set after lowering.
Just ordered the rear kit and a rear bush kit so will book the front and rear camber/caster/tow kit in for install hopefully for end of next week and I'll get the rear bushes done down the track.
For those who are still at standard height pull your wheels off this weekend and check the wear on your front and rear tyres.
If you see signs of premature wear contact K-MAC and order these kits before your up for new tyres.
At standard height my fronts wore the outside tyre edge and destroyed the inside tyre edge after a couple of months.
Rears wore out the inside edge.
These K-MAC kits are not just camber kits but will adjust caster on the front and tow on the rear.
These are not Chinese eBay items guys, they are the industry leaders in this field and manufacture in house with on going R&D to ensure their components are always evolving.
I don't know about you but I don't want to be buying tyres every year.
Wheels deffinately are showing a reduction in camber and still no scrubbing issues.

i called k-mac last year when i was having my car lowered in case my wheel alignment guy couldn't put the car back to spec. But, my alignment turned out ok, so i never ordered it.

Should expect 3 to 4 hours for front and same for rear plus full wheel alignment.
Drives better than before.
Doesn't follow the camber in the road
Front tyres don't dig in when going around round abouts
(I noticed this day one of driving the car home, had the service centre check the alignment which came back within spec. Now we know there's no adjustment from factory for them to have changed anyway)
Handles sweeping and tight corners fine
I run over sized tyres and lowered suspension - no scrubbing
Traction - no change that I can feel
I think the biggest advantage for me is in knowing that my alignment is setup correctly and my tyres should live a full life expectancy.
For or those who track their cars can now have the best of both worlds.
A wheel alignment is part of the pre delivery so every car has a wheel alignment before customer takes delivery of their new car.
At at first I thought this may had been missed as on the drive home my left front tyre felt like it was digging in to the road when going around the round about. (Australia)
Service Centre assured the wheel alignment was done before delivery.
At first service had the alignment checked and was and was reported back to me that it was within factory spec.
After a a couple of months noticed that my front left tyres outside edge was wearing heavily.
At about 8 months I inspected both fronts and both tyres wear dead...so I had my factory rear 265/35/19's fitted up front. (See picture below)
Now that I had relatively new tyres all round I had the car lowered and wheel aligned which the Tech told me the alignment was all over the shop. (I didn't get a printout or any specifics just took it that he aligned to how it should be.
Sure enough over over the next 8 months this set wore out as well.
Two sets of tyres in 16 months is rediculas hence why I fitted the Front and Rear K-MAC Camber kits.
September 2016 - Left outside edge wearing
December 2016 - Replaced both front tyres
December 2016 - worn tyres
July 2017 - full set of fresh tyres

Any reputable suspension shop should be able to do this with no issues.
Kevin at K-Mac is alway available if they need to contact him.
Post up you alignment once done.
