I have mine setup like a common family sedan which suits me as I don't track the car.
Best thing once these are fitted you will you will have the ability to set it up then have it fine tuned to your liking.
Go to a reputable suspension shop, tell them what you want out of the alignment and the shop should have enough knowledge to advise you on best setup to suit you.
I suppose like everything it will be trial and error until you get it how you want.
My only pre requisite was tyre life.
Good luck.

Any reputable alignment / maintenance shop should have a basic bench press.
Only requires an open height of 10". Type of which Pep Boys sell

Ok, the K-MAC front and rear camber kits are fitted and full wheel alignment done and my first impressions are that both the steering and suspension feel more firm and responsive.
Wheels deffinately are showing a reduction in camber and still no scrubbing issues.

Hey Mate! Here is my current spec after the install. Running 1.8 front camber and the rears are 1.5. I was requesting for the same spec like yours but they said it might rub the fenders. They told me to drive and break-in for few weeks . Then they will recheck the alignment again. Also, im a bit concern anout the front caster,am running 7.4 left and 7.7 right. You think it shud be higher like 9.3-10? Thanks

Sorry to chime in........ most of the tire problems seem to me to be too aggressive toe. A couple of decades ago I ran a Boxster S in autocross with super soft Kuhmo competition tires. I ran almost zero from positive toe in front and almosyt zero rom negatibe from rear ..... no tire dragging on the road. 70+ auto cross runs + 7Kmiles on street. Toe is more destructive than a positive cornering force in MO..

just had my car lowered using the KW HAS kit........was shown the alignment shop report....sure enough, front-end needs help.
i really wish i would have done even more research than i did prior to KW HAS purchase. starting to feel like the "look" isn't worth it in the least.
and $500 for a bushing kit? sheesh!

To invest in the camber kit now ensures your going to get maximum life from your expensive tyres in the future.

Had the front bushing kit installed this week. It helped reduce the negative camber by 1/2% based on the before and after readouts, and currently sits at -2%. We did change the springs from KW to H&R which do sit lower so maybe that’s a reason why.
Seem ok?

I have a 20mm drop with KW HAS which sit the guards just on top of my tyres and my camber is set to -1.5 front from memory.
My alignments are noted above in this thread.

Alignment done after the install. Interesting that our front camber readings are that much different from each other’s given that we are using the same springs.

Its all up to the tyre shop I suppose on what they think is best for the roads in your particular country.
Theres a lot of adjustment in these K-Mac kits so you could probable request them to adjust the negative Camber out a little more if that's what you want.
I fly back to Australia tomorrow night and I'm just hanging to go for a drive...I would of loved to had an AMG while in LA but just could get one.

While the replacement thrust arm bushes allow to re adjust Caster to compensate and they are mono ball 2 axis / self aligning without the OEM oil and air voids. Providing improved brake and steering response.
Also manufacture for the C63/S65 front upper arm replacement bushings – precisely adjustable (#503216-1K).
When used in conjunction with the lower arm bushings provide some serious adjustment (Pos. or Neg.). Especially track days dramatically reducing understeer in the pursuit of hitting those corner apexes every time and allowing to go deeper into the corners with improved traction and braking response. The lower arm bushes also increasing track width by 40mm (1 1/2”). Then can readjust the lower arms back to street setting.
To complete the package – Rear kit provides Camber adjustment (for the 1st time) and extra Toe to compensate - precisely adjusting importantly lower – not upper arms. Retaining therefore clearance top of tire to outer fender (and easy access to adjust) #502226K.
Along with uprated bush kit for the ‘6’ rear multi- link arms. Reduced rear and flex/twitch, improved traction especially when applying power to lane change / overtake (#502628K).

Do point out that with the front lower arm bush adjuster kit – Camber provides (Pos. or Neg.) ‘4’ times that of the “one offset” position crash or fluted bolts (not that they are available for the C63/S65 AMG) and it is “precise” single wrench adjustable.

Will have to get that labour quote from Motson Turbos for the Rear Multi Link Arms Bushings I paid for.
That will be everything done then...
Thanks for your great support and I hope these guys keep supporting your business.

the more time i spend behind the wheel, the more i think the steering actually responds, acts, and feels better due to the K-MAC front bushing kit. do i think it's worth the $500 shipped? maybe. does it pique my interest as to what an "all around" solution would act like? of course.
placebo, maybe.....but it really does feel different. would love to test such claim if i could.

Thanks for the post on these. I noticed the same on first front set and now after lowing and on my new Pilot supersports the inside in the rear is almost bald alreday (6 months maybe 5k miles)
going to put on my winter wheels soon and mostly be driving my truck this winter but going to likely pick up a set of these for next spring

Just to clarify, are you guys recommending both the bushing and camber kit? Or just the camber kit? I plan to lower the car with HR springs, but want it done proper. Thanks

MBWorld Fanatic!
Same question from me... Planning on dropping with H&R... Their quoted drop distance is based on stock suspension ,not AMG suspension -- anyone know how much H&R drops from the AMG suspension ?
