Wheel Spacers?

Was planning on lowering my car and add spacers, but unfortunately, I'm not sure it will make it up my driveway without scraping. Of course, I'm still waiting on my car and will not know for sure until I get my hands on it. Anyway, if I don't lower it, but put spacers on...do I have to do an alignment?

No you do not, you are not changing the suspension geometry just widening the track.

not entirely true. wide spacers can have marginal impact on alignment depending on the type of suspension equipped on the car.

How? Does the camber and toe change? I have probably put spacers on half my cars recently and never once did an alignment. Installing spacers does not adjust the arms or any of the suspension items. Id like to see the data behind this as Im sure no one here has re aligned their car post spacer install. I havent on these recent cars and they had proper wear and driveability. I do drive my cars relatively aggressive too. Maybe something, as you said marginally adjusts, but that has to be negligible in tire wear and footprint.

I agree. The only thing I could say that is marginally impacted is spring rates from changing the leverage on the arms.
